It's very telling, curious. Does it really take a degree to sit up there and read some emails and interpret them based on her own world view? We can all read and we can all decide for ourselves. I'm floored that Nurmi spent two full days having the Dr. read emails. And then there's Dr. Samuels. He knows she does not have PTSD. They laid out a diagnosis for him to find and told him to find it. He even fudged the tests to make that happen. Makes you wonder about the mind of a person willing to lie for someone knowing they did viciously killed someone. Otherwise, why the lie. All the defense psychology experts, save maybe Geffner, had to do some twisting of the truth. It's astounding. I think there are some people who are not capable of looking within themselves and realizing they've been taken by a killer's appearance and charm, even if they know it, deep down. Reminds one of the "groupies" who used to frequent the Bundy and Nightstalker trials knowing these men were sadistic, murdering psychopaths. Everyone has their delusional supporters. And the better looking, the more support. Jodi's no different..

Now see. Though every word you said is true, I just can't wrap my head around it. These paid experts aren't just groupies. These are supposed to be educated adults, experts, who give talks to the public, earn huge amounts of money, author books, and supposedly counsel others. They HAVE TO KNOW what they are doing is wrong. I don't for one minute buy into the idea that they have been taken in by the killer. Now I could see a lay person taken in by a sociopath or Psycopath, but not someone with the title of PhD. They aren't deluded by Jodi. They are deluded by the almighty dollar. And to me, that is criminal, given the fact that a very young man was slaughtered.

Totally Agree.

A perfect example is her going to the funeral. Just WOW. She knew all his friends and family would be there. She knew by then some suspiciouns were coming at her and yet she boldly shows up to boldly face all these people when deep down she knew she killed him.

A normal person would never be able to do that. Even if you ever had to kill someone in real honest to goodness self defense, most people could never show up at the person's funeral they just killed.

This alone is very telling of a person with no conscience.

ETA...Oh, and I think she was hitting on some guy on the plane ride back from the funeral. Just like she was trying to have sex with the other guy right after she killed Travis. Jeepers.

After reviewing her interviews again pre-and-post, it was so evident how Travis knew her so well, a psychopath that only has tears for herself.

I noticed again how HAPPY she seemed to be interviewed, even though she claimed she had just lost the love of her life. THEN after she was convicted....OMG, tearful, sad, pathetic, confused at what just happened.

And I notice with Jodi she is able to deflect ANY BIT of criticism, even just a sliver of criticism she is able to deflect onto someone else. NOTHING is her fault. Juan nailed her to the wall in closing....and she hated it.

Oh, and her timid, little girl voice....YUCK>

The women is dangerous. She takes no responsibility for anything. AND her "art" stinks.

Agree. I think there will be a hold out or two (juror 3 seems to be with the defense) and I almost think that's better. She won't get the same amount of attention when it comes to appeals and people fighting for her that she would if she got the death penalty. She'd just be another killer serving life. JSS will give her LWOP. Bank on it.

I think CMJA will adjust just fine to whatever sentence she's given and that JM will know he gave it 100% and honored TA's wishes to pursue the DP, no matter what happens.

Most importantly, I hope that TA's family can let go and start to grieve even if CMJA doesn't get the DP. But....so far, so good, and I still believe she'll get the DP.

I hope you're right! Certainly seems a good amount of the jury isn't swallowing this pill so far. I hope Nurmi doesn't take all week like Beth said!

Just read BK's recap of last week.

She pointed out that the language about computer has now shifted to "access to" and "modification of" rather than the original stark "deletion" of files.

Also, she interviewed original Atty who asked to see computer. Atty left the room, then her investigator. She says JM and Flores were still in the room with HD, and she's furious with JM, not Nurmi.

I read this last night. Guess the defense lawyers all hang together. So it will be he said/she said until a decision is made. Wonder why the language changed though or if that's Shaeffers interpretation? (did I spell her name right?)

LOL!....I think Juan was just yanking his (Samuels) chain. I could see money written all over that guys reasonings. ALV is likely deluded by her own perceptions of all the evil men on the planet. LOL. I don't think she was a Jodi supporter. She just hates men in general so she HAS TO support the killer because she is a woman. Can you imagine all the men's lives she has ruined by testifying against them?

I think ALV was all about her agenda. Women are always the victim, men are always the abuser. It's like an extreme racism. She sees men and women at war, and she fights for her side.
