Being mean/rude once in a while =/= being abusive. The problem with Nurmi is, he seems to forget that all of us are humans and have done/said things that we might regret. Him trying to turn these "normal human behaviour" into something sinister, something monstrous, is just laughable. He's overplaying his hand.

I'm quite sure when Dr. Sexpert was watching all the interviews and such provided by the state ( reason she didn't have to "interview" them, because she said they would be more in Travis Friend Mode ) she got a real good look at what to expect from Juan Martinez.

She wouldn't be allowed to look at them if the defense didn't provide her with them. She is not a State witness. The defense decides what information she is given to review and base her testimony on. I seriously doubt that the defense wanted her to see everything.

The whole point - assuming this argument would be anywhere near reality - is that Travis would assume and act as if she was worth nothing. To an abusive and controlling man, 'his' woman should count herself lucky to take care of him.

The thing is, she is not paying anything. The taxpayers of Arizona is paying for all of it.

I don't believe for a single second Travis bought that French Maid outfit. I believe it existed, but he didn't buy it. If it was online purchase, the evidence would have come up already through bank records. Otherwise he would have had to go into a 'specialty' shop. This is the same guy who Jodi has already testified was too embarrassed to buy KY at WalMart.

Yes, I understand that, but early this morning, she stated that she didn't need to talk to the Hughes, Lisa or any of them, because she looked at all the interviews that was provided even part of the states case. Cuz then I asked did that include the interview with CMJA's parents. She then said she only interview CMJA twice but read journals, emails, text's and such to form her "expert" opinion.

I hope that at least one person on the jury has dealt with an individual similar to JA before in their life. JA was careful to not leave a copy (email, text, recording, etc) of whatever she said to Travis that showed her true colors. Like any other abuser she preferred to do it face to face or at least in person over the phone. Like most abusers she also instigated things knowing that certain comments from Travis would be made to her that she could use at a later date as she saw fit. It also shows that Travis was not the underhanded dirty abuser that the defense/JA claim that he was. If so, he would have known better than to leave a trail of evidence against himself.
