AZL...is there any possibility Nurmi crossed an ethical line serious enough to warrant having him thrown out mid trial?

I was going for jail time for obstruction of justice!

FGS, the public has a right to a speedy trial precedents should be set just from this trial!

Has there been any public accounting (as in, actual dollar figures) of just how much KN et al. have been paid by the taxpayers for this case?

much more than the ten thousand dollars MDL billed back months ago. I think he and Wilmont pull down about twenty five hundred a day. Expert witnesses are around three hundred an hour. So it's all adds up. Thank you citizens of Az. for having such deep pockets

I am not good at searching court minutes etc, but if anyone else is, and wouldn't mind doing it, it would sure be nice to have an actual day by day listing since the trial started. Or, if you show me where to find the info, I can put it together for us to all see what a circus this has become

Oct 19 no court, due to....

Etc etc.

I'd really like to see the breakdown and delays laid out clearly.

As far as I know, Nurmi has not made any request to the Ct App.

AZlawyer, what do you think now? Obviously, whether it's about the hard drive, or juror complaint, or whatever, Nurmi was right. This trial will last until 2015. Week after next is Thanksgiving. He is doing his all to cause a mistrial

What would happen in a jury member had a daughter that went into labor while in court. Would a judge ever excuse the jury for something like that? Or a death in someones family? What is protocol for major family issues, especially when the dwindling number of alts is critical?

Yes, that could happen, but IMO the risk of losing a bunch of jurors if the trial is extended past mid-December outweighs the risk of losing one juror for a family issue at this point. JSS would have to balance those two risks and decide whether to let the juror go or not.
