We don't know who he is, but when Juan filed a motion to have the defense team turn over the mirror image of the drive on which they'd claimed to find the deleted porn, they instead turned over a drive belonging to this 'Tony'. Juan got a little upset, and filed a motion for sanctions if the real drive wasn't turned over, by noon today. I'm thinkin' court janitor.

It could be. The 25th is scheduled for consideration by the Ct App, but if they want further oral argument first they might have asked for time this week. But if so I don't see why they need 2 days for that.

And really, I don't see why the attorneys would need their calendars for any reason. JSS already knows their schedules for Tuesday and Wednesday--they were scheduled to be in trial on the JA case!

We can't even assume it's anything that deserves secrecy, since every little thing is treated as secret in this case. :gaah:

Oct 21st: jury sworn in and round 2 begins
Nov 20th: KN *might* continue direct on his first witness
Dec 18th or 21st: approximate end date given to the jurors

To be serious, when I was using Windows PC I used Spybot Search and Destroy a lot. It found and fixed lots of things without adding 89,000 registry entries and carp that something like Norton/etc. did.

Poor ole boy Tony. His entire hard drive got turned over to the DA by mistake. oops. lol.

I'm a Mac user. I don't have to worry about that carp. lol

True - I should have said his first non-secret witness. But I don't know that witness testified as much as half a day, did he/she?. Heck, that's not even enough time to cover a 140-character tweet in KN-time.

It bothers me a lot that these so called experts are testifying and saying things that, based on your ladies comments and my own personal research, really lack foundation and just aren't based in reality. Shouldn't THEY more than anyone truly know what goes on when there's real abuse and be able to recognize when someone is just being angry or a jerk that day?

I guess defense attorneys truly can find an expert that will support their position, whatever it might be. I wonder if they have a database...

Exactly. I suspect that the likes of Fonseca spend so much time with their peers, in Academia, affirming and re-affirming and tweaking their "expertise" that they don't realize how poorly it compares to basic common sense, real-life experience and simple human instinct, out here in the real world. And that's why jurors are likely to find her testimony insulting. You don't have to have a PhD to know what's what.

KN will say this has nothing to do with him, because JA hired this "expert" while she was representing herself and that's when the computer was turned over and examined.

Wasn't Tony's HD turned over AFTER the DT exam, after Nurmi's allegations, AFTER JM's motion?

Which is why Nurmi is responsible for whatever got turned over. I'm sorry, but there is no way I believe anything Nurmi has said or done about this HD is excusable in the least. His job, his responsibility.

Could one of the jurors or irreplaceable staff members have a dental emergency? Like needing a root canal? Would the judge then be looking to make up court time by having court late or on Fridays?

No ma'am! Sometimes I just answer in a way that sounds "short," but it's nothing personal I promise! There are no stupid questions when it comes to this Through the Looking Glass trial.
