A lot of years ago, I was a secretary for some antitrust lawyers. Many people, even other lawyers, would say they didn't think they'd like doing that type of job because they preferred working with people. I was always kind of dumbstruck. Who do they think runs companies? Robots? Giraffes?

Now we have the psychologists version of the same idiotic statement. Travis can manipulate relationships but not be manipulative, because that apparently involves people.
