Re this letter to the family - I cannot ever imagine sending a family I had not met a letter notifying them (with the exact date) that I was now an official girlfriend. What is up with that?

I never did that. I always met my boyfriends' families when the guy brought me home to meet his family. Never a need for a letter stating we were "official and exclusive".

Chris Hughes has read the letter. He said it was off the charts twisted, and that the family didn't want it disclosed to the public. That they are allowing JM to use it now says a lot about their determination to see JA on death row. I couldn't agree with them more.

Exactly. It just speaks volumes about their determination that they're letting it out now.

Yes! It was in a box in his garage. Best way to the garage? Apparently it's through the sliding glass door at the rear of the property.

Oh, and why, prey tell, would she even need her actual card? After filling out so many applications for waitressing jobs over the past ten years, wouldn't you think Miss Einstein have her own SSN already burned into her memory bank? Nah, she wasn't there -- LATE AT NIGHT -- to sort through several boxes of her of her stuff in Travis' garage for her social security card. Doesn't she realize how absurd her lies are?

Martinez later asked Arias if she went out of her way to contact Alexander's family after his death. She said she did contact them and confirmed that on June 13, 2008, she sent Alexander's grandmother flowers and a note saying that she was in her prayers.

"You felt badly for her," Martinez said.

"Yes," Arias replied.

Martinez then asked Arias if she sent a letter to Alexander's family on July 28, 2008, Travis Alexander's birthday. She confirmed that she had.

Afterward, Martinez played a video clip from an interview Arias gave to the CBS program "48 Hours" in August 2008. In the video, Arias said she wrote to Alexander's family members because they deserved answers.

Martinez noted the letter was 18 pages long. In it, Arias told Alexander's family that he was killed by unknown male and female intruders.

"So you lied to them, didn't you?" Martinez asked.

"Yes," Arias replied.

Of course, how ridiculous! Yet they want McGee's internet threats against Juan sealed, I'm sure of it.

Quick question. Did Jodi ever say Travis was on his knees? If the answer is yes then I would guess the bed was to high for TA to do what she claims.

Yes, I seem to remember she did testify first that he was on his knees. It may have been when she was first questioned by Nurmi. When JM questioned her, she said he was on his bed. I found a photo of Travis' bed but am unsure how to attach it. I'll try now.

the test is copyrighted - most psychological testing is and the tests are expensive for the psych Dr's to purchase.




I wasn't very clear - yes it was the 20 pg letter sent after TA's death in which Jodi referred to the "2/2/07" official start date with the deep sympathy ending.
Juan was also reading from other evidence during that period of time - I don't think Jodi wrote to the family in this letter about TA dating others.

ETA: Well - I am wrong - tweets are saying she wrote that in the family letter. Sorry for all the confusion!
