Long time lurker. You folks rock it.:loveyou:

My thoughts are: how sad is this letter from the family. As hard as it was to release for them, it will be the final punch that takes the killer down. Personally I think it is a reenactment of how the killer ended Travis's life. JA just can stop herself.

I wonder how JA's mother feels now with that #1 mother necklace around her neck. What a great job she did with this child. She really should be proud. NOT

I will try to pipe up more. Very smart commenters here. Hope I posted right :-)

Hello. Yes, pipe up more! The more the merrier. :)

And I agree; she is so done if the jurors believe she was sick enough to reenact how she killed TA to a letter to his family. If they believe that that is what she did, I think she will get the DP. And wouldn't that be fitting? Her own words would've gotten her on death row.

Goodnight all.

I believe Juan is doing an excellent job discrediting this clown

What!! There was a clown and I missed it! I love to hear about all clowns. So this got to be a circus....

She's that sick. She's wanted to crush them from the very beginning, right after she murdered him. She cannot explain away that letter as an attempt to act normal, or sent because she "didn't know what to do."

Who do you think she's trying to hurt with the pedo lie and all the Travis is a pervert lies? Do you remember her stepping all over what Samantha said in her VIM?

She's that sick. That consumed with hatred for them.

Agree. It goes a long way imo in showing that she wasn't just some mentally ill girl who got caught up in something that she couldn't get out of and was just trying to be normal. This shows she was very much in control of what she was doing and was very calculated. She was plotting and manipulating not confused and scared.

Juan is 1/2 inch taller than Willmott today fyi. #JodiArias

-----------------------------------------------------

Yes, for those who have been paying attention Juan has been making steady, fractional gains on Wilmott as of late.

The question is, is Juan incrementally "heightening" or is Wilmott simply succumbing to defeat? My money is on the latter.

I agree. She knows this is her last chance to be in the spotlight for many many years.

Nothing this women does surprises me anymore. I think we can all agree, this person is not normal. She is one angry person. At the world. Her family, her pets, her relationships. Everyone that comes near her suffers. Travis did know her best. Only cries for herself, dangerous, caught in her lies, etc etc. I suspect he was a forgiving person, and this is what sealed his fate.

I am in awe with Juan Martinez. I am so glad for Travis' family that this is the man that was given this case.

This is so incredibly sad. Did she truly believe this to be a condolence letter? Why would she write negative things about Travis to the family? Travis is gone - dead. At this point anything Travis did no longer mattered. This just drives home how truly mentally disturbed this woman is.
Well, certainly how psychopathic she is. I don't personally see her as truly being mentally ill. This isn't new territory for a psychopath.

The letter to Travis' family was a game to her. It checks all the boxes her psychopathology would enjoy - she gets to be a victim; she gets to show his family the 'real' Travis (aka character assassination); she gets to deceive them while knowing the truth; she appears remorseful, regretful that she couldn't save Travis (heroine, victim, martyr); and she gives the superficial appearance of being so much more important to Travis than she likely was - a reinterpretation of history to those who did matter most to Travis. Travis' family HAD to know how important and special Jodi was to Travis. They HAD to understand how traumatized Jodi had been by her experiences. They HAD to be aware he was a good, but not great, guy because only Jodi knew the 'real' him.

Psychopaths literally have their own reality. They deliberately, through psychological abuse (as evidenced in this letter), attempt to inflict that reality on others.

I don't think she was offered a deal. I might be wrong though..

She was never offered one. She ASKED for one and was quickly denied...:denied:

The DT will go with "This was just a part of her coverup before she could admit to herself that she had killed him."

Doubt it'll do any good though.

WAT is reminding me of Monica lately. [Shivers]
If I were broke and an ex, who I was still friendly with, offered me a housecleaning job because he wasn't well off enough to just give me cash on a regular basis, I'd take it. Pride doesn't fill an empty belly. It has nothing to do with "loving oneself".

JA did not provide maid service to Travis to fill her empty belly. She did it to stay connected and to snoop. MOO

Yeah definitely not JA. But you know, other women in general.

I decided to take a dip into the JA support cesspool, and indeed they are saying that she didn't write the letter. Naturally.
Also, 'totdoc' (Demarte) should be fired for allowing copyrighted information out into the world of laypeople, and they probably staged the theft of her laptop to cover up the fact that she gave it to JM.
They are baffled as to why JM was asking about Travis being on his knees, and of course called him a pervert.
Hey supporters! He brought that up to illustrate how absurd it sounds. She has to make things more dramatic than they would be if they actually happened. Chaotic paper. The end.
Oh! And Jodi is not a liar. LMAO.
*I am feeling crushed by what she did to TA's family, I actually want her to get the DP because she doesn't deserve to live for the first time today, and it is making me sick. Reading that she is not a liar brightened me up somehow. ... sigh... I'm a little off.*
Interesting bunch, they are. Poor, blind, bunch.

She wanted to make a deal with the prosecution to plead guilty to 2nd degree murder and in exchange she wouldn't drag Travis' name through the muck. Good thing they didn't agree to that since she had already started to disgrace him by her vile letter to his family. Just disgusting.

Thanks for going down the "slime" highway and for sharing. If you need eye bleach or delousing spray now - step on up!!
