Hmm, that struck me as odd also. Wonder why that was thrown in there?
JM threw out a similar question about MM last trial. This time around I bet its to plant the question.... why isn't he here testifying if he can support her claim?

Am i dreaming or hadn't Jodi said in the first trial she was ambidextrous?
if she does switch her writing hand in court, it's probably already too late. Whoever asked that was already observing her before submitting the q.I'm left-handed also. I've never held my pen or pencil correctly, and I write sort of upside down like some other left-handed people. My thumb, index finger, and middle finger are holding the pen. My middle finger is pressing down really hard on my ring finger. It would be difficult to write normally if you had a broken ring finger. As someone said earlier, Jodi will probably start writing with her right hand, trying to outsmart everybody. But she said she was ambidextrous in the last trial.
That sounds to me like a description of someone who's obsessed, or addicted, or prone to self-delusion - so not necessarily a pro-defense question?
So, we know JM now knows the weak points (and will be plenty prepared for rebuttal), but so does the DT - how might they try to counter that? They haven't rested yet.
What kind of answer is this? Is the juror asking if there were other incidents in his records that the DT did not bring up, nor did she journal about?
And he answers in such a way as to say they "summarized" the incidents (indicating there are more?)
Is that how this reads to anyone else?
I guess we'll need to see the actual full questions and answers to figure some of this out.
MOO
and "How is she choosing to continue contact considering the emotional abuse?"
Sounds to me like we have a woman on the jury who has been physically abused and doesn't understand why Jodi would go back to Mesa even after she moved away.

:moo: That said, the handwriting would be visibly different using left vs. right hand. :moo:
She usually holds her golf pencil in her left talon, like a Vulture. Is there a photo of CMJA holding a pen/pencil while writing? I'm left handed and I only hold the pen/pencil with my thumb and first two fingers. The ring and pinky finger are bent down and touching the pad under the bottom of my thumb (this is so hard to explain! lol), or just bent (like her finger) lying on the page I'm writing on.
Obviously it would be extremely painful if it were broken. Just wondering how she usually holds her writing instruments.
I thought he tended towards vague answers. His response here was telling- basically that the murderer going back is part of the cycle. Yet he didn't bother to address the issue that they were 1000 miles apart, and that's just for starters.
I took Juan's remarks about Matt McCartney and the fact that he would lie for Jodi as pretty straight forward- he has evidence (that he can prove) that Matt McCartney would and did in fact lie for her. More importantly, when he asked Geff if he knows how he fells about her now- as a two prong attack- since Geff doesn't know, I take that to mean that 1. Matt is no longer in the defense teams pocket and 2. He no longer supports the defendant- nor is he willing to lie for her anymore. I'm pretty certain with Juans threats to him previously (probably perjury and possibly accessory charges) and with the passing of time- Matt no longer supports her or has good feelings towards her. That is my opinion, anyway.
The killer testified that she's ambidextrous, but in these photos, she is definitely left handed. Please don't be offended as the 'bird' makes an appearance in most of these images.I'm left-handed also. Yes. There is a whole run down about what it means and how it works. It was practically a lecture on the subject ,which I found hinky since her journal should know everything she knows and doesn't need detailed instructions to explain her beliefs. She mentions LOA often but the one entry was over the top explanatory. Almost like it was meant to be read.I believe JA may have doctored her journals before or soon after the killing, but do the words "the law of attraction" even appear in them? Or did the concept arise during the 40 hrs. ALV interviewed JA?
Iirc, Matt actually said he'd lie for her which is why Juan was able to say that unopposed.
It's seems pretty clear and just common sense that at least some jury members will see this "mitigation" for what it is. When the jury begins to function together, people who are outliers will have their views challenged and will need to support their views. Given the complete dearth of evidence of any of the defense theories, I'm pretty confident that everyone will end up on the same page in terms of her lack of mitigation. The tactics employed by the defense run much more risk of enraging jurors and securing her the death penalty out of sheer disgust. I still don't get how this is a good strategy.
This doesn't mean she'll get death. It only takes one. It is still possible to have a stealth juror, an anti-DP type, who knows. I'm hoping not. I hope Juan & the family get what they want and what she deserves. But I'll just be happy that she'll have to shut up and go away from her cushy jail to a real prison with people who are just as bad as she is. Her life is over one way or another.
