At the start of every trial the jury is hung, isn't it? I've read every question and I'm not worried. So, a few questioned DV? Those FEW could have been asked early on in his testimony IN DECEMBER. Either way, this jury gets it. They see through this BS defense and I am NOT worried.

Nash.....this was NOT BETH'S OPINION. She just tweeted the questions! It is MY opinion. Hate me. But don't hate her. I thought the last jury got it too, like the four who hung?!!!!

Listen, I like Beth. I am a member at her site. I always liked her from her CNN days but she has made some glaring mistakes in her assessments in this retrial and has made comments as if she knew something for certain. I have disagreed with some of what she has believed or said. Why should we believe her over our own ears. Just because she is an attorney doesn't mean she's infallible.
RBBM: Unless, it's AZL. She seems infallible. I do have to wonder about Beth's coverage. I noticed it at the last trial. And, anyone that sits next to Kiefer, must get some defense germs on them.

FTR, and with respect to Curious, I don't get the impression that she does from Beth's reports of the questions. The twitter reports are less wordy, but basically IMO, about the same.

eta: I'll add that some of the other's twitter reports at times show their own bias, and Beth in her trial notes does not do that. I do disagree with some of her statements in video wrap ups though, and that's where her opinion is seen.

I liked the question about whether the killer is right or left handed. I think a juror has deduced that the broken finger incident is a lie, based on the unchanged writing patterns in her journals before and after said incident. We all know that finger was damaged on June 4, 2008 when she killed Travis.

That is as amazingly smart question. Its one I've never even thought to ask myself in My own Head. Some smart cookies on this jury

Thank you so much.

And let's rmemeber that the foreman thought there was physical abuse at first too but as the trial wore on started to believe there was emotional abuse only. The physical abuse part is uncorroborated. No evidence anywhere.

Can't wait to see what's going to happen tomorrow! Will JA retake the stand? Will the defense rest? Will JM get to start the rebuttal case?

One question indicated the juror believed T actually asked her to marry him - and more than once.

Another seemed to indicate a belief that she had been emotionally abused by T.

Still reading.

Geffner says no way she re wrote journals after she killed Travis or she would have added the DV #jodiarias #3tvarias

What kind of twisted BS is this? The jury are not fools. It easily could mean she wrote journal entries after she killed him and there was no DV.

OMG. The witness did a great job of proving to the jury that he is a BS artist along with JA.

. You Guys are NOT reading what I said. Beth did not make any comments. And you are saying we should believe our own ears? We aren't hearing this!!!! This is trial by tweets. All I said is that Beth wrote word for word what the questions were and what Geff said. I am not commenting oh him. He is a jerk. But based on their detailed questions, I say they are smart and have questions as to whether Jodi may have been abused.
A couple of questions (like asking him if he believed physical abuse occurred) seemed to put way too much stock into his opinion for my liking. That said, they easily could (hopefully) have been submitted much earlier.

There were, fortunately, several other questions seeking independent corroboration for any of her claims too. I want the jury to dismiss him out of hand as a paid hack but they appear to be doing their due diligence.

You don't want to know. You just want to be angry cause I said that. Okay. I am off for tonight. She deserves the DP!!!!!!! But I don't think this jury has decided that yet. That's all from me!!

Wooooah. I meant it seriously because i usually see eye to eye with you and truly was asking your opinion why you Thought That. Everything ok today curious??

Well, from reading the juror questions to Geffner, my opinion is this jury is not buying what the DT is selling.

NO DV, NO PTSD, NO PEDO.

Geff says he takes issue with belief. In his opinion there was DV #jodiarias #3tvarias

Juan-You believed the physical abuse took place...Geff is stalling when Juan asks again do you believe it?! #jodiarias #3tvarias

There you have it. The "expert" has an opinion that there was DV but has an issue with the word "believe" there was DV.

LOL!

I think Beth hedges her bets. She does not want to appear to be clairvoyant, and she knows we won't forget when she's wrong. I think she tries to present a neutral, legal perspective, but once the verdict is in, she's going to go all HLN. Mark my words hahaha.

Look for a lot of right-handed writing by JA for rest of the trial.

Yes, please curious, what is wrong? This is not a bad thing at all!!! :grouphug:

We genuinely wanted to know! You keep saying some of them are pro DV but you haven't said which ones! We are just curious.

At this point, I am not worried. Juan has not even presented his rebuttal case yet. Anyone who might at this time wonder if she was abused---will probably change their opinion soon.

I took some of the juror questions as testing him. I think some are totally convinced he is a hack and were testing him to see if he would lie right to their own questions. Which he promptly did.
