I also don't think I'd call allowing the computer to be booted up ineffective assistance. If they deleted things that's one thing, but I don't think they did that either. And it's not the state's fault either. If the defense requested it, and there's a record of this and a record that a judge allowed it, then the state didn't have a choice.
