So, Dr. Fonseca has established that TA was a normal male who had conflicted feelings about women and sex and religion. Travis was not a saint nor is anyone I know. How this testimony mitigates her crime is beyond me. JMV

Looks like it's been an interesting morning. I laughed when I heard that the "porn files" were deleted when a former defense team member had his or her hands on the laptop. Perhaps the DT asked to see the "live" laptop rather than just the Encase forensic image, then had to run a virus scan to get past the porn pop-ups lol.

To answer someone's question about 20 pages back, it's not ineffective assistance of counsel to delete a virus that has nothing to do with the case.

Maybe KN is trying to get himself off the case. An ineffective counsel might involve not checking your facts involving your client before you were assigned to her.

IMO I feel if this Doc just put IMO after each of her statements like we do, she would be better off. I must admit you have to give some credit to her statements because of her occupation. But, if you have the live people there, why haven't you spoke with them or have them testify. It just seems odd to me. JMO

I had to laugh reading this at the start of today's testimony. A lawyer who specializes in defending perverts calling and questioning a witness who's an expert in perversion. Maybe they can head out to a swinger's club after court ends for the day. They can both mine for clients.

Bur people really need to THINK before using email. They could have called him or talked to him in person. It wasn't Sky's business at all! But Chris could have talked to him in person. Too late now and they shouldn't beat themselves up but it doesn't help the case. If I had been Travis, I would have been livid that they had the gall to email me about my personal life. And it's somewhat cowardly not to talk with someone in person. JMO.

While I agree with your point, I doubt that Chris, Sky, or Travis had the slightest inkling at the time that the 'shank' who turned out to be an especially cruel lying torture murderess would eventually use their words to mitigate her potential and future homicidal actions.

I think Nurmi's making the same mistake with this email as he did with the sex tape. He hopes for demonizing Travis, but what he's doing is humanizing Travis. Which should remind the jury his client brutally murdered a real whole conflicted young loving introspective man who made friends feel safe, even when they were criticizing him.

I keep thinking the same thing! Nurmi's approach is really helping to humanize Travis in a far better way than they were going for!
