All of this Hughes email testimony fries me a new face. Travis never rejected Deanna. They were together for a long time. They became intimate sexually and thought better of it in light of their religion, went to the bishop and the relationship underwent a serious change in all of its aspects. Deanna took up religious obligations. They were not, either one of them, then sure about marriage. All of this has been a hideous distortion.

I'm a little behind in my reading here but does anyone have a clue of the Hughes are going to be called as witnesses to answer questions about what they were thinking about while writing these emails to Travis? Seems a lot of guess work is going on by this woman, when the Hughes are real live people capable of giving a more accurate interpretation about the conversations written and verbal they had with Travis.

I'm no Mormon, but Mormon beliefs about marriage and timing did not torture/murder TA.

The especially cruel lying torture murderess needed no external influence or pressure.

She did precisely what she set out to do with her Grandpappy's stolen .25 caliber.

Thank you so much, Travis murder had nothing to do with his faith. It is about a evil monster walking into his life (him allowing it at first) and slaughtering him. I will never follow another trial where my Mormon faith is put on trial, to be made fun of, disparaged. It really hurts.

So. She has one civilian mitigation witness, a 12 year girl at the time who isn't even willing to come to court?

I am confused. You say she is 12. But I just watched her video testimony and she was a student at Brigham Young University. More like 18 to 22.
