Yes, that is the way Nurmi ended, that is the way Nurmi ended, not with a bang but a whimper. (apologies to TS Elliott)

I fear the explosive email will be dissected by Dr. F and Nurmi for at least a day and a half

So Shaeffer says Flores powered up the computer. Why would he do that if the DT did not ask him to?

Who cares at this point? Unless the defense is going to argue that Travis accessed 🤬🤬🤬🤬 remotely while dead, then JSS needs to kill this nonsense. But if she lets it in, then certainly Juan will get to introduce all the connections: the magical disappearing gun, JA's computer being destroyed by JA at about the same time Travis's computer gets infected, etc.

I've started a hashtag #defensebymedia feel free to use it liberally . Chris Williams of Ch. 12 is also in the Kiefer camp fyi

Very true. Also, an abuser wouldn't be as introspective or as critical of him/herself as Travis was either. An abuser deflects blame - everything is always everyone else's fault and they're always a victim of some perceived injustice.

Sound like anyone else we know? :)

Boom Boom Boom

Gaaawwwddd noooo!!! Help us all.

If Nurmi had his way, Arias would die of old age before she was sentenced.

She'll die of old age in prison whether she gets the DP or not.

I know this is incredibly redundant and obvious but I feel the need to just write out loud that everyone needs to remember and the jury needs to absolutely be informed that it's not just that she
"snapped" and killed him in reaction to *whatever*. It's that she planned the entire slaughter in a very sophisticated way for someone with as little means as she had: staging a breakin to steal the gun, the rental car, the gas cans, the dying of her hair and the fact she took photos of him literally seconds as he was defenseless and naked and unarmed sitting in a shower stall in probably the most vulnerable position a person could ever find themself in. Then the level of violence she killed and over killed and continued killing after he was dead. Then the sophisticated cover up and lies and stories upon lies upon lies for years and years. THis crime was far too extensive for someone who was weak and broken down from abuse and "snapped".

I know I"m preaching to the choir but I just had to create a reality check to clear the fog this defense has polluted my State with. Now I feel better.

Greetings from beautiful Sedona AZ where it's cool and I have a fire and a glass of red wine--things no matter what Jodi Arias will never experience again for the rest of her miserable days.

For those of us who don't use Twitter, can you please explain how hashtags are used? I always thought they were like keywords/search tags. Thanks.

IMO he's trying to wipe some of the egg off his face, but now even to a casual reader it must be clear he lost his objectivity long long ago.

Accurate post is accurate.

And that's exactly how it comes off. His latest articles don't even read like legitimate news format articles. They read like blog posts. A lot of opinion in them. Notice how he never wrote an article, not even a slanted one, covering Juan's rebuttal and he covers his comments in this latest article as if they're lies. He twisted Juan's words around. Juan did not say the defense deleted the 🤬🤬🤬🤬. He said the deletions happened while they had the computer and whatever happened must have occurred because of something they did. He never implied they did it on purpose or they did anything blatantly wrong. It was a very clear defense of the defense.

Also, Juan very much cleared up the accusation that they secretly signed out the computer to make changes (yet left a record of it, ok). The defense made the request and it was granted. They're acting like they just decided to hand the evidence over to them and even offered to turn the computer on for them. They would not have done that unless they were asked to.

Has this been posted yet? Kiefer puts his usual spin on Juan's explanation of "Porngate":

http://www.azcentral.com/story/news...-schaffer-denies-deleted-🤬🤬🤬🤬-files/18978593/

Warning: Usual Kiefer bias/omission of facts, of course.
Kiefer needs to delete that tweet where he stated that 'possible child 🤬🤬🤬🤬' was found on the computer. He was the only reporter to state that, based on lies fed to him from the defense team. :moo:

I went to Starbucks today and had a Peppermint Mocha, something Jodi will never have!!! And... there were no skateboarding Ninja's there to turn my license plate upside down, even though it's located very close to a Middle School and High School!

That's basically what they are. It makes the tweet more easily searchable.

Agree, and it is so sensational. They have no idea if it had anything to do with child 🤬🤬🤬🤬. Even so, it was a virus. Such irresponsible reporting.

When Jean C. was at the trial last year she said she looked it up and the appeal process takes about 12 years before an execution takes place.

Of course since JA is a white female I doubt she will ever be treated the same as males who have been given the DP.

I don't really care how she dies ........I just want the just punishment to be meted out. If JA was a male she would have been sent to death row last year.

I envy you being in Sedona. Soooo beautiful there. Have spent a lot of time around there but sadly always had to leave to go home.

KCL, have you heard anything more about whether the secret witness was in fact Jodi Arias? If not, who do you think it might be?

I don't often use the word hate, but right now I do hate Nurmi for the way that he has presented this case. One can still defend a murderer and try to save them without crossing moral and ethical boundaries, but IMO, Nurmi has crossed them in a very big way.

RIP Travis, and others who were taken at the hands of another.

I do wonder what punishment Travis would want for his killer...

He was much more forgiving than many, that's for sure.

Accurate post is accurate...
.

? Don't understand this? The rest I do. I get what he wrote. The egg he needed to remove was his article 2 days ago where he said Nurmi must be telling the truth because otherwise he would open himself up to misconduct charges .

Since Nurmi wasn't and Kieffer will never criticize Nurmi, he seems to need to toss responsiblity back JM's way, no matter how many untruths or half truths it takes.

Skye and Chris said that Travis was always for law and order and would have wanted her to be punished fully for what she did.

He would want it if she had killed any of his friends or family, imo.

But it isn't up to Travis. She took all of his rights away. That is why we have laws/rules in place which decide if a case is to be a death penalty case or not and this one certainly qualifies. IMO

I now know exactly how the state should finish their closing arguments when the time comes. I think this would be perfect:

Juan should either read live or have a recording/presentation made in which someone reads the words Travis wrote.

"This year I'm going to love more...laugh more..." (you guys know the one I'm referring to). Then as that is being read, pictures of TA be flashed on the big screens -- the picture changing each time a new line is read of the things Travis is looking to do in the coming year. Start with pictures of him alive and then segue to ones of him deceased. I can't imagine a more powerful presentation to leave the jury with when Juan then asks them to sentence his killer to the ultimate punishment.
