*REVISIT* Could We Have Gotten a Confession from Casey?

ya get her drunk and stick a chip n dale guy in there with her .. she will talk .. lol oh im so bad :(

My first thought was to put her with another inmate that would stroke her ego and play bestest girl friend to her. Make her comfortable and tell her how great she is and how smart she is that she has been able to fool everyone. I think that you have to play to her ego and her need to be center of attention.

My next thought was if her parents would actually let her know how much they love her and will no matter what she may or may not have done. Even if they have to play the part of willing (not like they aren't already) participants and that they will move her body or whatever needs to be done.

Lastly, have the media, all media, stop publishing anything at all about her. Who is really interested in what she eats, what time she gets to spend outside, what she buys from the commissary? Remove her parents from the headlines and remove her from the headlines. Only give limited print/face time to her lawyer. Pretty basically just ignore her. Publish anything and everything about Caylee, but nothing, nothing about her mother or her grandparents. They don't exist. Nothing that they say or do is worthy of publication. I don't think that she or her parents could stand it if all publicity was pulled out from under them. Also it wouldn't hurt for all friends, relative, and acquantances to cold shoulder them all. I think that none of them would be able to keep quiet. they will do or say something/anything to get back in the spot light and just might slip up.

First of all kc will never confess because there is no reason for her to: if she confesses, she will ABSOLUTELY spend time in prison. If she keeps her mouth shut, she MAY just walk. She is counting on the "walking" part.

(From personal experience, (brother) ) the only way kc will "confess", is if she comes up with or is provided with a story that somehow portrays her as a victim and/or a hero in this whole saga. Something along the lines of: "rather than allow caylee and i be kidnapped into a sex/🤬🤬🤬🤬 ring (or something equally horrific), i was attempting to sacrifice BOTH of our lives. but something went wrong and i survived."

i also totally agree with 100% Agave: the publicity of the minutae needs to stop. commissary purchases and jail menu? ridiculous. no more interviews of parents/family/investigators. it is only making the sympathizers rally even harder.when the anthonys cry: "its US against the world." it significantly reduces the chances of confession by kc and increases CA/GA/LA resolve to "save" KC.

IMO

I agree. That is why I think that if they can keep the death penalty on the table and use it to hold over her head they should.

I hope that when this goes to trial, as she sees the evidence mount and she realizes that her incompetent lawyer is going to get her fried, she will try to bargain with the prosecution of LWOP in exchange for Caylee's body and the truth. Not that I think she can tell the truth but at least something resembling the truth.

Too bad there is not some way to apply more pressure to her but with her lawyer keeping even the family away and the police not being able to question her vigorously, it will be up to the prosecution to come at her with guns blazing at the trial.

The jail house conversation with Christina said it all......

"oh, 'cause I was arrested on a whim..."

She has already rationalized what she had done to Caylee and she believes she has done no wrong.

Very excellent ideas!!
Re #1: I very much agree! I think it's really disappointing that Casey's in isolated/protective custody. If she had a cellmate, I think she'd be talking. I don't know if she'd confess, but the more she talks, the more likely it is that evidence would be revealed. And just IMAGINE if she could have a male cellmate-- well, don't imagine too much-- but I think she'd be much more likely to talk to a male-- especially one who spun weird Bonnie & Clyde, Natural Born Killer fantasies and was attracted to female criminality. I think a male criminal could even elicit a confession if he goaded Casey into showing just how "bad-🤬🤬🤬" she is.
Re #2: I also agree and wonder about this-- if George or Lee were to be able to communicate with Casey and say they wanted to cover for her and would never tell Cindy what happened, I wonder if she'd go for it. I don't know, but it seems possible??

I can't STAND that she refuses to talk. I really wish there was some way to "break" the "Steel Magnolia":furious:

What would make Casey tell the truth about where Caylee's body is located? Will she ever tell?

If it might be a plea deal, what would be the terms?

Does Jose have enough client control to get her to accept a good plea deal? After the last effort, Jose said she wanted her day in court. (Lawyer speak for she wouldn't take the deal.)

Not much that would be legal. I really don't think she will ever tell now, she's playing a game and seems to be winning, at least she thinks she is. I think the only way to get her to give it up was to go for the death penalty and even then I wouldn't be suprised if she just took her chances.
I really dislike this girl.

Casey will never tell, remember Caylee was kidnapped!{rolls eyes}

Minor consequences. If they told her she would only get maybe 3-5 years in jail if she tells the truth, I believe they would get as close to truth as they will ever get. Or better yet, no jail she will tell them every sordid detail.

She will never tell unless there is something big in it for her, 10-20 isn't going to do it, she can't think that far ahead and realize that that's a pretty good deal..to her that's life.

I really don't think that she will ever tell.....pleasd deal, etc...or no. She has gone this far. Why stop now?

She's going to ride this thing out and not say a word. She knows she's caught, and the only power she has in her life anymore is knowing where Caylee is. She'll hold onto that information until it benefits her in some huge way to tell. And what that could be, I can't even imagine.

Maybe Casey doesn't believe they will convict her or that she will spend decades in prison? Is she drinking her own kool-aid?

So, her refusal to tell is about power? Power seemed to be the big issue between KC and CA for sure.

IMO NOTHING will make her tell the whereabouts of that Baby!! She's crazy enough and she feels she is winning this whole thing by sticking to her lies. Narcissism, egotism, and sociopathic behaviors surround Casey. She believes in her own mind that everything she has done is fine,no one stopped her then and she believes that NO ONE will stop her now or ever for that matter! She is stuck inside her sick, fat, egotistical, ugly head!!!!

She makes me sick!:furious:

P.S. I hope that nothing I said is against posting rules. Feel free to delete if need be :) Just very angry!

I wonder if one of her long time childhood friends or someone she meets in jail might ONE DAY be able to convince her to give closure to her family.

I think it will take a long, long, long time for her to forgive her family for cooperating with LE, so I think she'll continue to get satisfaction hearing them BEG her to tell them the truth.

Though, I think if she threw Caylee in a dumpster OR left her for alligators, the shame & guilt of what she did will probably prevent her from EVER admitting that horrifying truth to anyone.

Is it possible she might change her mind at some point during the trial when she realizes it isn't going her way? They can plea deal or present the information in mitigation at any point up to sentencing.
