Revisit Photo of Caylee Crying in Red Shirt - was it the last ever taken?

It is in the active folder in another folder labeled 'pictures' and it is 515 and also th_515. Both are in black and white. There is also a pic of KC grabbing an Ohio State shirt like Caylee's which is 981 and th_981. That picture has a modified date of January 8,2008 at 5:03 am. I think they are wearing matching shirts in pic 515.

I also found an image for the Ohio State U game schedule for 2007 in the same folder which was modified on August 15,2007 at 4:41 pm.

So are you saying these pictures were added no later than 1-8-08?

Oops! I think I misunderstood..I still haven't found the picture being discussed on the thread. I looked thru all the folders I had and also looked thru the document dumps searching for it. I still can't find the source of the photo.

I think part of the thread is trying to figure out when the picture was taken. Any dates you see are most likely just when it was uploaded to someone's hosting account and not the date of the picture. If we have the date of the picture it does make the point moot, so let me know where you see the date.
I personally don't think that this picture is related to her murder, but there are those that are trying to investigate the picture and see if there is a correlation.
It has been in interesting discussion when it's on topic LOL.

I agree that it is interesting but what I don't understand is how it is possible to link this photo with her time of death unless you know the day the photo was taken.

I also don't see the link between this photo & the the alleged Hotel/Motel sighting of Casey on June 15th.

I have to admit that this thread has me a bit confused & I feel like I'm 'Missing Something"

Respectfully, to all parents who have photographed a crying child for any reason:
The topic of this thread is not whether or not (1) KC is a bad parent, (2) 2 year olds have tantrums, (3) people who take photos of crying children can do so for good reasons or (4) that it is a sad photo of Caylee when we know what ultimately happened to her and it invokes tears or emotional responses in good, feeling people. Those are not really relevant. I remember those were discussed on a previous thread.

The photo is being discussed on this thread to see if it might shed some light on whether or not:
(1) It might show that Caylee is damp -- as if she has been swimming recently as CA said she was on the evening of June 15, 2008 when it was getting dark.
(2) Was the photo in existence before the evening of June 15, 2008 or not. If it was, it is not relevant to the crime. If it was not in existence before that time, it may have been taken near midnight on June 15, 2008 and may be the last photo of Caylee taken while she was still alive.
(3) If it was not in existence before nightfall on June 15, 2008, it may be a clue as to the specific location of Caylee's death.
(4) If it was taken in a hotel room near the Anthony home as per LP's statement saying KC was observed and a few WSers recall seeing a still photo or video (like a security camera) of KC pacing in a parking lot of a hotel after dark, then why was KC at the hotel.
(5) It appears the ping map could be helpful to show that this is possible and was a focus of intense observation earlier.
(6) It could help prove the time of death is around midnight on June 15, 2008.
(7) It could lead a reasonable person, looking at the totality of the circumstances of the case including the soft porn photos of KC, the wild nightlife, the going-off-to-work but not having what people understand as a traditional "job," and the unexplained flow of money from June 15, 2008 to the present paying for an expensive lifestyle without visible means of support and expensive criminal defense without any explanation of the source of the funds. It is, under this totality of the circumstances, somewhat possible that a reasonable person could believe that KC might have been instrumental in something nepharious and that some third person might have been involved and might now be paying huge amounts of money so as not to be identified as being involved. It warrants at least some second look by responsible people into whether or not the darker side of "entertrainment" in the area could have been involved now that we know that Caylee died, chloroform was somehow involved, duct tape was used and a young mother is on trial. Add that to the mystery about how the body was found, what JB might have told DC, the hearing on a possible conflict of interest for JB and the selling of a story, the story that an investigator was terminated from a job for failure to follow up leads and the underlying low credibility meter throughout this case.

The photo raises issues and clues that under a totality of the circumstances view, it is appropriate to go back and take another look at the information to see if there are further clues that KC might not have acted alone or may have aided and abetted somebody else. Threads of truth through KC's lies and stories? We've seen that. What if her chatter about being fearful of someone is a thread of truth? If no one wants to sleuth and discuss, that's fine. These points are not linkable, to "evidence" and ready to prove elements of a crime beyond a reasonable doubt. These points are JMHO and as a reasonable person, it appears to be what rational sleuthers might consider -- looking at the June 15, 2008 date again to see if there is more to this story than we already believe we know; maybe the truth?

I haven't read this whole thread but seeing that picture breaks my heart. I have to admit - at one time a few months ago I took a picture of my daughter when she was having a tantrum. It was with my camera phone that was arms length away when we were in the middle of "discussing" that there is no ice cream -really frozen yogurt- before dinner. The point of that was so show her what she looks like when acting completely unreasonably. After I took the picture - I showed it to her and said very calmly, "Marley, you want to see your picture, you want to see what you look like?" I took her lovingly in my arms, she held onto me, stopped crying, and said , "mama, why she cryin'?" I explained it was her and that if we behave like big kids we get what we want, but if we throw tantrums nobody wins. She then sat down, ate her dinner, and had some frozen yogurt. Not only that, she only ate 1/2 what I gave her and told me she was full and wanted to save it.

My point??? Taking a picture of a screaming child is not necessarily abuse, neglect, lack of love, caring or compassion. My daughter is hugged and loved all day every day.

That being said - never - NEVER - NEVER - was she in such a state of hysteria that Caylee is in in this picture. It is sad, it is wrong, and it is unforgivable what happened to Caylee.

I have 2 kids and have taken pics of them fussing before- usually because they just decide they don't want to have a picture taken or you know, it's Tuesday and they're upset But in this particular picture, poor Caylee looks like she has been in a horrible way for some time- you can see where she has been crying for some time, the changes in colour to certain parts of her face (some pale, some red) and the sweat on her forhead. I absolutely hate to judge parenting and tantrums and such, but whatever is going on, Caylee REALLY should not have a camera in her face- she needs a hug and some comfort

I do, too. Makes me terribly sad for her. Some posters have commented in the past that the reason they think this was the last photo taken is because Caylee is crying and reaching out for whomever was taking this photo - and what kind of a person would take such a photo anyway? The last thing I want to do is photograph my child when she's crying - I immediately go and pick her up. I certainly don't think about photographing her...

I totally agree with you down the line. I personally can't tie this photo to anything of significance, but that is just my opinion. If you re read my posts I was also confused.
But now I see that it is just an exercise to see if there is or isn't anything to be deduced from the picture. IMO, there is not, but that doesn't make it so .

Someone posted a link in the Photobucket thread and that's where I got it from. My file folder says it was created 2/9/09 at 2:26 pm so I suspect the link can be found in the Photobucket thread shortly before that.

This makes sense, Caylee and KC are both wearing their matching shirts at a Super Bowl party Feb 3rd 08 in Oviado. (Is that created date supposed to be 2/9/08?)

There are a couple other pictures taken that day when Caylee is way less than a happy camper, she looked tired IMO, but some of the pix show Caylee having fun playing with other kids.

I hate this picture, she is not pitching a fit, (mad) wet from a pool or strapped into the carseat headed someplace for her. She is standing, arms reaching out for comfort that didn't come.

I don't find the picture of Lee to be thoughtless or abusive. His face is saying more like "Ah come on, don't do this to me", maybe even a little embarrassed because she was fine just a second ago and you give her to me and she howls (she isn't crying in that picture) there are a couple other pictures that may have been taken the same evening with Caylee looking a little grumpy, maybe it was past her bedtime or maybe she just wasn't in the mood for pictures that day. It doesn't make Lee a monster to be holding a squirming child who was reaching for the person holding the camera. IMO.

I am just not pleased that so many people think if you buy a
child a whole bunch of toys and clothes and dress them up and take

As much as this picture of Caylee bothers me, I have to admit, I am guilty of taking a picture of my 2 year old daughter while she was crying and loading it up onto my Facebook page. We were trying to get a Christmas card picture, and I was trying to get all three of my kids to take a nice picture.

JJGram- the shirt is the Buckeyes- that's a buckeye plant, not a pot plant.

I really don't think this was taken the night she was killed. Florida+June=Hot Not the type of weather to wear that type of shirt.

The sweaty hair thing- maybe she was dancing or running around, my kids' hair gets stuck to their foreheads and it's not because they have been crying for a long time.

The green tongue- apple blow pop? Slurpee? Lime popsicle? A green push-up? Pixy Stix? all of these turn my kids tongues green.

I think imaginations are running wild on this thread.

1) I've never seen any evidence that Casey is involved with Pornography if I'm mistaken please provide a link.

2) I've never seen any "Soft Core" porn picks of Casey that were not obviously doctored using "Photoshop".

3) It is very common for attractive 22 year olds to go to parties & nightclubs. That does not mean that they are involved with Prostitution or Pornography.

4)If Casey was involved in Prostitution or Pornography it is not unreasonable to assume that someone, somewhere would have come forward by now to confirm it. Especially when you consider the large amount of money that would be paid for such information.

5) I've never seen a "Still Photo" or "Video" of Casey pacing back & forth talking on her cell phone. If anyone has it please provide a link.

6) If WS members did see such a "Video" or "Photo" then it should still be on the Web & easily accessed with a little searching. Where is it & what happened to it?

7) There is no evidence that I know of that Casey was at a Motel on June 15th other than a statement by LP & an unsubstantiated tip.

8) LP has a very long history of making statements that are simply not true & there were 1,000's of unsubstantiated "Tips".

9) If Casey was in a Motel on June 15th and LE did retrieve this alleged "Video" of her then where is the evidence of it? Where is the Subpoena for the Video or the warrant to search the Motel or the statements from the Motel Clerk & why hasn't any of this been turned over to the defense which would be in accordance with FLA law?

10) It is not unreasonable to assume that Casey's "expensive defense team" is working on this case because of the massive amount of publicity involved and the notoriety that they would gain from being involved with such a high profile case .In fact it is very common.

11) It is also not unreasonable to assume that Jose Baez is or was expecting future monies made from Book Deals, Movie Rights, Photos and Interviews. In fact, the DA's office thought so as well.

12) The unexplained flow of money is most likely from the sale of Photos of Caylee & Interviews given by the Anthony's not from some mysterious "third person" who is funding Casey's defense team.

13) IF a Mysterious "Third Person" is funding Casey's defense it is most likely because he is expecting a return on his money through previously mentioned Book Deals, etc. not because he is involved in some kind of "Nefarious Conspiracy" and does not want to be Identified

14) Duct tape over the mouth of a murder victim is very common & it's use does not suggest any connection to a "Darker" side of the "Entertainment" world.

15)The only evidence that I know of that connects the Chloroform in this case to the "Darker side of Entertainment" is a statement that LP made on the nancy Grace show were he said that "Chloroform is used by young people during sex." 16) If this particular photo of Caylee does in fact show that she is "Damp" it could be because she just took a bath & is getting ready for bed. In fact maybe that's why she's crying......Because It's bed time.

17) There are Dozens of photos of Caylee. Any one of them could have been taken by anyone at any time or any place so why not just pick a photo out of a hat & ask...... "is this the last photo of Caylee taken" & "was it taken at a Motel on June 15th"

Casey's ex BF had a "Win her over with chloroform" picture downloaded on his computer & on his myspace for a while - LE seized his computer AND Casey's deense is VERY hot to trot to obtain all information re: the search of his computer. You can go look at the criminal case info to see this motion.
Also, if you do a search here at WS for chloroform, you'll find that Casey (or another Anthony family member) had been searching this chemical on the computer.

It has been suggested that either LE didn't follow up, OR that the FBI has it, ergo it's like everything else JBaez hasn't been able to get from the FBI. :doh:
