what were the words y'all used to search for these ads? I want to see. :D

I think I must have used

Chad Reynolds craigslist

because it doesn't show up in the first 5+ pgs of google experimental search for just "Chad Reynolds". [That was great sleuthing, btw, MADJG]

Does anyone know how Ch-- knew the 1st little girl, the one he was convicted for?

Was she a relative or acquaintance or opportunity?

mmanley said he was living in St. Pete before and after, so I'm quizzical.

I don't recall ever seeing Daytona on it before.

there is an image of his SO profile on the first page of this thread. I can't hardly read it but if that's what y'all are talking about, you can go back there and see if it said Daytona back when that was posted.

What's that black thing attatched to the side of it?

The part that is facing the camera kind of looks like velcro. My husband has some velcro strips (for Medic stuff - I think. I'll ask him why he has them when he gets home) and that's what it looks like to me, one side of a velcro strip. BUT there is something metal (it looks like) off the back of it so I don't know.

I don't know. At first, thought it looked like an older cell phone, but zoomed in to 400% and just made myself get all queasy again, lol.

Walkie-talkie? The antenna thing is so completely straight and not at the correct angle; so maybe not attached to the black thing?

I have never seen or heard of this photo anywhere else but here, btw. Where did it come from? [not doubting anybody, just curious.]

I see what you're talking about. Especially after I zoomed in. :D
What I thought was perhaps a knife in a holder - but the antenna or whatever isn't big enough to be handle. I don't know.

I'm on my work confuser and can't zoom. Could you post the zoomed image? It is a mighty curious looking attatchment for a chair...even a stick one...

lol - don't ask me. I've never figured out how to post the photos from Ch--'s myspace acct that I took before it was shut down.

if you push 'ctrl' and the "+" it will zoom in. Well, it makes the page bigger. That's what I did.

Just saw the resident who finally noticed Waldo's body. He was sick of the car blocking his own driveway for 2 weeks. Said traffic enforcement employee had ticketed the car daily, but that he/she probably would not have seen the body, you had to bend down and really look into it.

WCJB, noon news.

Exactly which part of that CHAIR are you suppose to sit on?

  • #459
Does anyone know if that picture is where the chair was sitting as it was found and it hasn't been moved? If so it has not been there very long. If you look at the log behind it is covered in green moss and the leaves around the legs has not built up. This chair does not have any moss on it.
As far that black thing it looks like the plastic snap end on a hold down strap that has one of the male prong ends broken off on it. You can get these in many different places. Keeper is a brand name that makes them that is more on the higher price scale but you can also buy much cheaper versions in a dollar store. The plastic ends are not made as well. I would bet any hunting store, camping store, auto parts stores, building supply places as well as Wall-mart have them.
The color being green makes me wonder if this is maybe cotton strapping and not nylon like the webbing that was used on some of the older style folding cots. That end is the key though. It should have something pressed into that says a name or a symbol of the manufacture. At worst just.....'Made in china'.

With the other article of a makeshift lean-to, shovel and rope it sounds if this was a camp spot used by someone. I would hope that LE has attempted to find out if any of the local would know about this spot.

Report: Intruder fondled girl,

Palatka Daily News

A man wearing a ski mask is believed to have entered the

bedroom

window of an 11-year-old girl and fondled her before

fleeing

through the same window of her Interlachen home Tuesday

night.

The Putnam County Sheriff's Office is asking for the

public's

help in identifying the suspect, who has been described

as a

white male between 5 feet, 10 inches and 6 feet tall with

some

facial hair beneath his lower lip.

Officers appear satisfied the suspect is not a family

member.

"We look at evidence from every possible angle and it's

our belief it was someone from outside the home," said

Lt.

Gary Bowling of the sheriff's office.

What the evidence does suggest, according to a statement

from

the sheriff's office, is that the suspect may have cut

himself

while entering the window and may have injuries

consistent with

having been cut.

"We collected blood and if we pinpoint a suspect, we can

use it to collect DNA," Bowling said.

While there may be a heightened sense of awareness of

home invasions

and abductions involving children from news reports

across the

country in recent months, Bowling said the sheriff's

office has

not detected an increase in such incidents, either in the

county

or nationwide.

"We see this as an isolated incident," he said. "We

would tell citizens to take all the normal (home

security) precautions

they would take every day."

Information about the incident should be directed to

Detective

Dan Fleming, who can be reached at 326-2783.
