Found Safe RI - Adrian Reno, 14, & Khia Lake, 16, Westerly, 2 March 2017

Adrian Reno, 14, and Khia Lake, 16, were last seen at approximately 2:30 p.m. Thursday along Granite Street. Early investigation revealed the two may be in the New York City area.

Police were able to ping a cell phone to New York City. Police said today that the cell phones have since been turned off and although local officers are working alongside law enforcement in New York, it is not considered a high priority case for the New York Police Department.

The two took a $400 taxi ride to New York City, to meet someone in New Rochelle.

Westerly is actually in Rhode Island. It is approximately 15-20 minutes from the Connecticut line though.
