From the link:
When asked whether he thought Lester was still alive, A private investigator hired by the family admitted that he’s not sure.
“It’s tough to say,” he said.
Vogt said Lester rarely went anywhere without her dog, and the fact that it was found wandering the streets without her is “not encouraging.”

Despite this, Lester’s family remains hopeful that she will be found alive. They’re offering a $20,000 reward to anyone with information pertinent to the investigation.

That's a hodgepodge of locations. Charlotte lived "lived just over the East Greenwich line in Warwick", but no location given.

The home on Staples is tiny, has an "unfinished basement" :(

That map shows Elmwood Ave at the Cranston/Providence line. Elmwood Ave runs from Warwick, through Cranston and on to Providence. I haven't seen where on Elmwood the dog was found but I'm figuring somewhere in Warwick - or the news would have (or should have) specified Cranston or Providence.

I put in the address for the Warwick Animal Hospital on Elmwood Ave. Also put the Kent County Hospital address in last, figuring dropping the vehicle would be the last thing done in the series of (mostly unknown) events related to Charlotte's disappearance. Charlotte's address is approximate based on Google searches and the neighbor's statement.

Not sure I'd take Rte 95. I'd probably stick to Rte 1 (Post Rd to Elmwood) but it's been eons since I was in that neck of the woods and I know there's been changes made to the roads over the years.

Friends and family of 44-year-old Charlotte Lester searched areas of Warwick, Cranston, and Providence on Sunday in hopes of finding answers into Lester’s disappearance.

The search party canvassed Elmwood Avenue, Roger Williams Park, Staples Avenue, the area of I-95, and Belmont Park.

Additionally, a monetary reward for information has increased to $20,000.

QUOTES FROM HER BROTHER From article:

"Mark ( her brother ) said Charlotte’s truck isn’t the only thing they found."

"We found papers that were written to Charlotte, they were almost like love letters, signed from a gentleman named Mark,” he said."

"Mark is the same name as the man whose house Warwick police have been stationed at for weeks."

“Kent Hospital kicked us off their property last week, which, shame on Kent, 100% shame, especially when the car was found there,” he said."

It seems to me that if any harm came to this woman and I hope not - it came in that house she visited 29 Staples Avenue and someone dumped the truck haphazardly and at the hospital of all places.

As for the hospital not allowing her brother to continue to seach the wooded area where he car was found. Not cool.

All moo.

I would also think the hospital parking lot would have CCTV camera's & any street camera's on the way to the hospital were looked at to see if they could see who was driving that truck.

Maybe they already know and haven't released info yet.

I know they searched Belmont Park but I haven't seen anything stating whether or not they've searched the Pawtuxet River which, 2-3 miles east of the park, joins the Providence River down at Pawtuxet Village. Three weeks after she was last seen, IF she was tossed in the Pawtuxet, who knows if she'd still be anywhere near the park.

This case reminds me so much of Cassandra Gross here in SW PA. Car found in one place, dog abandoned on a road somewhere else, and no trace of Cassandra.

Cassandra's family has been waiting for four years. I truly hope Charlotte's family doesn't have to wait that long for answers.

Yes l read about that - her ex boyfriend is the prime suspect but still no answers or body. The new prosecutor has promised recently to get back working on her case.

With regards to Charlotte: I hope the quote l used from the article in my earlier post from her brother about them finding “other things” and the police tape at that house on Staple Ave means they have enough evidence to find her.

I checked today and no news has been released.

(all moo)

So to sum up things so far.

5/16/2022 - Last seen that night around 10pm. She was headed to 29 Staples Ave.
5/18/2022 - Dog was found on Elmwood Ave in Warwick
5/19/2022 - Reported missing by a friend
5/19/2022 - Police taped the house on Staples Ave.
5/23/2022 - Her truck was found at Kent Hospital in Warwick in their parking lot and "Investigators confirm that “articles of interest” were found during a search of a wooded area near where her truck was discovered.
6/18/2022 - Dozens are searching Pawtuxet River.

I am not sure if they are searching the river because of a tip?

If anyone googles Kent Hospital in Warwick you will see MANY bodies of local water and the ocean not a long drive away.

It seems from 10pm Monday night 5/16 to Wed 5/18 (when her dog was found) if she was abducted? that's 48 hours. You could drive 400 miles and back. Or let's say till that following Monday when they found her car. If the dog was dropped off on the way out if town...That's a week.

I am trying to wrap my mind around if someone harmed her - why leave her car back in town? Why leave her car at all?

Wouldn't you dump the truck far away?

Letting the dog out of the car suggests familiarity to me...

This is only guessing that she met up with the wrong person...

I doubt she wandered off by herself ...

All moo...

A crowd of 75 volunteers conducted a third search for the missing Charlotte Lester, who has been missing since May 16. The search was in the water around Belmont park where her dog was found May 18.

Well that's nice of this man to do these videos.

Thanks for sharing.

I wonder if they are searching the river because of a tip?

The radio host was filming a Facebook Live outside a home that was previously investigated in relation to the disappearance of Charlotte Lester on Staples Avenue in Warwick, when he was arrested.

I hope this is OK to post. Help us find Charlotte Lester FaceBook page by her family and friends:

Mark Lester, brother of the missing woman, Charlotte Lester, said on Wednesday that the Warwick police haven't updated him on any developments in their investigation.

"They haven't made a statement. Or informed us on anything," he said in an electronic message.

The family has hired a private investigator, who has been "very active," Mark Lester said without providing further details.

I really cannot believe there hasn't been more. I feel so badly for Mark and her family. He has been working around the clock to find his sister.
