Officials in Rhode Island hope the reward provides a breakthrough in the faltering case, the pace of which has sparked growing community frustration. One “person of interest” was detained then released Sunday, and FBI director Kash Patel has faced criticism for prematurely declaring it solved.

The move also comes as Providence police appeal to Brown students who were near Saturday’s attack and students prepping for final exams to schedule interviews with investigators. The request was made by the university on Monday night in a post to X, prompting concern from some commentators who noted that many of the students had already left the state capital to return home for the holidays.

I don't think that last picture is the one they mean. It's not enhanced at all. A previous picture showing his close set eyes and narrow nose is a lot better.

Well, we see it's a white person. And they said male (and I'm guessing whatever was shouted before the shooting would help confirm that).

Bridge Guy flashbacks. It seemed so sure at the beginning of Delphi that someone would recognize him but no one came forward.

In Utah with the Kirk murder, a family member did come forward. That's what we need in this case.

They seem to mean the photo above? But it is not enhanced at all.

It seems they just made his clothing darker and, but everything else blurry. I guess maybe hoping someone recognized his clothing. His head is just a giant blur and the background is even fuzzy, where it's been clear in other photos.

Look how the new photo has the hat way up on his head and the mask seems smaller. The older photo released barely shows the guys eyes peak out and this new one is well I don't know what it is. Is that a huge wide forehead or ?

The color is more light brown than green now.

Trying to follow this but missed something. Are the images with the bag over his shoulder before the shooting or after?

One thing I can gather from this new photo is that he really does have a large round belly. The bag is clearly not under his clothing in the first photo because he still has the same shape in the new photo and the bag is on the outside of his clothing with the belly still visible. I do believe he picked that bag up somewhere along his walk.

if you're talking about the hallway/stairwell picture, i'm not sure what people are calling his eyes aren't his eyebrows.

Seems to me that the videos and previous photos already show his stocky body type, postures, and clothing.
Maybe they will show the enhanced picture they mean at the PC at 5 pm.
