It seems to me like more rappers have been dying (young) in the past several years than ever before (Nipsey Hussle, Mac Miller, Takeoff, Juice wrld). Is that simply because there are more well-known rappers than ever before? Is it because the barrier to fame is lower than before, and gaining fame is now more weakly tied to gaining any sort of wealth?

@Mack the Knife (sorry didn’t quote or reply)

There has always been young artists who pass away, with hip hop being more mainstream than ever before, their deaths are more widely reported.

I’m not saying it like this but is it because they r hip hop artists and they have more of a bad reputation so they do it more frequently 4 that reason I’m only asking that’s all
