Ringo Starr walks off 'Regis and Kelly'

Actually my take from reading the article is that Ringo's agent screwed up because she was told in November (and several times after) the time constraint for the song and she never told Ringo. Had she done her job back then, Ringo could have said no cutting and either the show could have made allowances or both sides could part ways amicably. I don't see where the show was to blame in any way.
