One of my favourite actors (In the Name of the Father, Brassed Off, The Usual Suspects) died yesterday.

I'm sorry to hear this news. I always enjoyed his performances. He was one of those guys who would pop up in a film, and even though you couldn't quite remember his name, you knew the movie was about to get better. A fine actor who made his characters more memorable than himself.

This is sad news. I really liked this guy in movies, and I am sorry there will be no more of them.

ETA: Brassed Off is wonderful, and timeless (since the recession just keeps cycling). I highly recommend it.
