Oh man.

"Get Off Of My Cloud", Charlie and may you be playing your beloved jazz. You and your idol Philly Joe Jones.

RIP Charlie

But what was a sick 80 yr old doing considering going out on tour?

Because that’s what the Rolling Stones did!

So hard to lose these amazing musicians.

I also was lucky enough to see them twice. Once we were so far away binoculars were necessary, lol. The other time we were 2nd row! Great memories.

@Jax49 and @Bravo so Blessed to see them live.

Steel Wheels tour opened in Philly. My brother and friends said the stage was like nothing they'd ever seen.

Got to see it few years later on IMax. Pretty amusing to hear people shouting at a balloon screen. O/T but the way home we see a tour bus at The Barbary. Pre Fishtown gentrification. Sonny Rhodes. Not performing but his birthday party. They welcomed us in and we partied with family.

I digress. Charlie Watts had input on that stage for Steel Wheels tour.

We and generations after were so lucky to have the original Stones. Brian, Wyman. Love me some Ron Woods since "Faces".
