Given the large number of requests and questions received regarding the search for George, conducted in the Valea Țigănești area of the Bucegi Mountains, we would like to make the following clarifications.
At this time, the search actions are suspended due to the high risk of avalanches, as well as the very large volume of snow accumulated in the area. These conditions make it impossible for rescue teams to carry out any intervention in safe conditions. At the same time, the significant amount of snow deposited makes the search action impossible.
When the avalanche risk decreases, the snow melts or if new, conclusive information appears, the search actions will be resumed immediately.

Teen missing in Romanian mountains is lost to us, family say
