Ron and Misty Have Brushes With The Law 12/30/09

  • #201
Well, gosh darn it, here we are with another one of those amazing stories of coincidence that seem to continually plague the tranquil lives of Ronald Cummings and Misty Croslin.

According to the latest PCSO report on the escapades of these two, Ron had to go to Buffalo Bluff to pick up Misty so she could get the last of her belongings from GGM’s residence and presumably end their love story:

After picking Misty up at Buffalo Bluff (A) instead of turning onto 309 in Satsuma (D) for a direct shot to Welaka (B), they somehow decide to continue south on Hwy 17 all the way down to Pomona Park and turn onto 308B (C) to continue to GGM’s house.

RonCRoad.jpg

This is where, ONCE AGAIN, their tranquil lives are unjustly interrupted by the dastardly actions of others. As their drive continues on 308B, SITTING RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HIGHWAY IS A PARKED CAR!

In a coincidence for the ages, Misty’s apparent latest companion, CJ, WAS DRIVING THE CAR! What would Vegas set the odds for THAT happening?

Wait, the plot gets even thicker. After undoubtedly turning on his turn signal and passing the car, the car goes from a dead still stop in the middle of the road and starts chasing Ron’s truck and trying to run them off the road.....FROM BEHIND no less!

Good thing for this guy that Ron is such a responsible gun owner and keeps his gun inside of a locked cabinet at home:

If Ron had the gun with him, he might have been tempted to say something rather abrupt to his tormentor:

I realize some are tempted to think Ron could have had time to lock the gun up before LE got to GGM’s house, but remember this is Ronald Cummings we’re talking about. ONCE AGAIN his old reliable alibi provider, Misty, has provided proof positive of his innocence:

As Dash said in the movie, The Incredibles, “Coincidence?, I think not”.

Concerned Papa, I must say, I'm a hard person to entertain but I did manage a few giggles when I read your version of this episode of the Ron and Misty series. You really missed your calling if you are not writing stories.

I am just sitting here shaking my head at this entire thing.

I know if I was afraid and behind someone who had threatened my life I would tailgate them enough that if they slammed on their brakes I would run into the back end of them, I also would keep trying to pass them every chance I got so I could get in front of them and have them following me instead of staying way back waiting for police to arrive. It is amazing that you don't hear his voice change or hear him striking RC's truck like he claimed happened but wait they found no damage so maybe it was just a love tap going at about 5mph. I would also wait to mention the threat on my life until much later in the conversation - I would make sure LE knows that I just know he has a gun in the car but LE says its ok because he has a permit - and then much later I would mention oh ya he pulled a gun out and yelled at me - yet we hear no RC yelling on the tape but CJ could clearly make out exactly what RC said. I would also make sure it was ok if I pulled a gun and shot RC if RC pulled a gun on me first. Then after I was terrified and I lost sight of the person who had threatened my life - I would turn around and go back in his direction realizing that I would pass him on the road again.

I have no doubt RC and CJ both had a gun in their vehicles (pics of CJ with guns so yes he does have them) but it is a he said she said situation except one of their stories don't make sense at all. I am sure both were contributing to the situation and at fault. But it is a good excuse as any to say see RC never takes responsibility he won't go to jail. If one goes to jail they all need to go to jail but there is that little matter of pesky evidence that gets in the way. CJs 911 call doesnt make sense and there was no damage to either vehicle so that kinda hurts CJs case and no one can prove RC pulled a gun.

So fed up with all this.

Don't you find it ironic that the one person who could confirm a gun is Misty? and RC went back to Sykes and THEN called LE giving rise to the thought gun could hae been put back? And that Misty was with him that night with two kids...something isn't adding up...CJ's call is pondering but if you look at the map Concerned Papa made of the events...it doesn't make sense...IMO..

Happy New Year btw :)

For some reason, I can see LE not questioning the kids. The complaint of a gun being waved out the window wasn't taken that seriously, IMO. But, really I don't know if they talked to the kids.

I'm beginning to think that waving a gun in this county is just a friendly way to say Howdie.

Just my guess for what it's worth - but LE has something bigger and better to spring on Misty and Ron (in due time). An arrest at this time for anything short of a gun shot and attempted murder would give a defense attorney an opportunity to point to police harassment or LE rushing to judgement. JMO as always.

IMHO..One thing for certain, LE in Putnam County can't be accused of rushing to judgement..JMO

There just seem to be a lot of he said, she said things going on with Ron Cummings doesn't it? He is just such an unlucky guy. Everyone seems to be picking on Ron. I say they just need to leave Ron alone. Stop picking on him, darn it.

Happy New Year!

Misty called 911 while the chase was still going on - Misty's 911 call came in before Charles call came in. I don't doubt he had the gun in the car and probably put it back in the safe when he got back to Sykes house. But LE has no way to prove it - CJ story doesnt make sense either when you listen to the 911 call and CJ isn't an upstanding citizen either IMO - LE can't just say well you said RC did this so we are gonna arrest him if they can't prove it there isn't much they can do about it.

Also IMO the CJ and RC issues go back to Sheffield days not really sure Misty has anything to do with their issues except maybe that was just the final straw type thing.

LOL not surprised by this response to my post - I figured it would be taken this way and if you read the post carefully you will see that is not at all what I was saying.

Have you thought about the fact that Ron may know too much on someone of importance? I do know for a fact that this happens, it has happened here recently. The lowest of the low knew too much on someone in Law Enforcement and absolutely nothing could be done to a 🤬🤬🤬 who was breaking the law left and right because they knew that they would be protected. This coverup went as far as the United States Congress.

.
and just possibly, there could be the chance of connected genetics
just saying

And I highly suspect that Ron C was waving a gun around when Haleigh accidentally caught that bullet too...JMO

You are correct, it is not at all what you were saying, it is what I'm saying, just commenting from your post.

You made an excellent point and to this day I have not figured out why LE didn't catch on to the first 911 call when Haleigh went missing. Ron was there, so why didn't he call 911? He had already arrived and told Misty to call. Why? Why did he not call? I asked this way back and the only reply I got was that Ron was to distressed possibly to make that call. Then it was said he got home after Misty woke and that is why she called. But I thought he was the one that told her to call when he arrived?
If I came home and my children were missing I would call 911 while I turned my house upside down looking for them, not b*thing at LE and the significant other. Why didn't Ron call LE when Haleigh went missing? Sorry, I got off topic.

:truce:

MAD-ITA. I think these 2 calls are one in the same. RON IS THERE BUT TOO SCARED TO CALL 911 HIMSELF. Maybe because he's guilty of something? Starting a car chase where he is said to have been carrying a gun? Having something to do with Haleigh going "missing"?
It blows my mind. really.

I totally agree with you there. I can't picture Ron or Misty even knowing an upstanding citizen. Birds of a feather flock together and all that jazz.

BBM--I think we all agree Ron had a gun...Geez Louise...if there were kids...this is just SICK....Re CJ....Oh dear Lord no...CJ is concerning..but within the RC CJ issues we have THE Donald...there's a history and I am guessing it ain't pretty...I don't suggest we arrest RC (without REAL cause) but he stated something to the effect--okay I'm divorced, now get the answers from Misty...and now he is using of MC to call 911 again? He did all he could to distance himself and yet he is with MC...it just DOES NOT ring true....

It seems to me these two are attached at the hip. The question, in my mind is why?

Emeralgem, they can't be accused of doing much of anything but sitting on their hands.

Well, I guess the guy will be ok as long as he doesn't call RC a name and hurts RC's feelings.
