ETA: the reason I ask is because I can not figure out why MC and RC were on 308B when 309 is a straight shot to Welaka and 4th Ave. I guess they could have decided to take the long way round just to talk or something, but it seems odd to me at that time of morning.

The only place I can find a road named like CJ's home address is in Crescent City. If this is the case, it looks like all parties went a little out of their way to meet on 308B. (JMO)

Nothing has been in the news about Ron and Misty since the divorce. I don’t know if this was a real split. The best thing that could happen for Misty is to pick up and start seeing someone else. It seems odd that Ron wanted the divorce and for WHATEVER reason is now fighting with the new guy. I would really like to see a picture of him. That’s true why wouldn’t they take her to the hospital? Maybe Misty tried to call Tommy or Timmy to take them the hospital. I don’t think she had transportation, did she?

Boy, I've really missed something here. Why would Misty need to go to the hospital? I did not see anything on the police report that indicated that someone needed to go to the hospital? Help!

RC doesn't like Misty getting close to people. She is a chatterbox. Let's see what happens next? Are they going to be celebrating New Year's Eve? Can't imagine them NOT partying.

I think that Ron is a bit afraid that there will be a bit of "pillow talk" between Misty and any new boyfriend. He has to put a stop to that and he has to remind Misty to keep her mouth shut.

I thought we heard that TM asked Tommy not to press the charges, but I'm not 100% about anything about this case anymore.

If you are talking about the assault and burglary charges, Tommy did press charges and Ron spent the night in jail. Are you talking about the dead rat threat and tampering with a witness?

Just my opinion here but I think it is a "life or death" situation for Misty here. I think Ron gave her a deal that she can't refuse.

JMO, but does anyone think that maybe Misty needed party favors for tonight and that is why she was with Ron? Ron may not be the husband of Misty anymore but he most likely still thinks that he owns her. He wants to make sure that Misty doesn't forget what may happen if she opens her mouth to someone about the events on the night that Haleigh disappeared. JMO.

Did you hear that there is a "blue moon" tonight? I guess once every 2 1/2 years a full moon occurs in one month. This will be tonight. Full moon over Satsuma. Watch out, I almost feel sorry for LE.

Yes, a Blue Moon, best seen from the southern hemisphere. But, my sources say a Blue Moon is when there is a second full moon within a month. It's a rare occurance. The next one isn't expectd until August 2012. The last was in June 2007.
It's extremely rare to have one on New Year's Eve though. The next one to appear on New Year's Eve won't be until 2028.

Once again nomoresorrow, we agree. I didn't think the wedding was on the up and up and the divorce isn't either.
What was Ron excuse for them to be together this time? He was taking her to his home to remove the rest of her things? Sure! It makes a lot of sense for him to pick Misty up. Take her to his place. And then take her back to her home again. Wouldn't it have been easier for him to pack her things and take them to Misty's place. One trip. But they never seem to do things the easy way. OR, it could be their explainations are so phony they always sound complicated.
I'm so wishing a new year brings pressure from LE upon these two and one of them turns against the other.
What happened to Haleigh? jmo

From the report it seems clear that MC picking up her stuff is just a poor cover story and that RC is spending time with her again .... a reverse secret affair with CJ used as cover?

It seems that MC is either keeping CJ on the hook for plausible deniability or to have both CJ and RC at her beckoning. Guys tussling over her and hiding her being in the truck.

RC and MC are definitely entwined in their crime and the info against each other.

Given their continual troubles with LE they are clearly going to self-destruct and HaLeigh's justice will only ever be that RC kills someone and then commits suicide.

See, I didn't understand that, either. But after re-reading the police report, there is this small tidbit, which I took to be like that charge for ratgate......heads to the prosecutor's office and if THEY want to bring charges against Ronald, then they can:

Misty stated Ronald did not have a gun during the incident and she never saw one. Misty signed/completed a voluntary statement.​

The charging affidavit will be forwarded to the State's Attorney's Office for further review.​

In view of the above information this case is deemed exceptionally cleared.

Any further reports will be
completed in a timely manner and submitted as required.

Ummm. If Misty said there was no gun, I'd almost bet there was one.

This has prolly been asked and answered somewhere here today, but I haven't found it yet and curiousity is killing me, so I'm gonna ask anyway. :blushing:

In the report Charles says Ron was in the truck by himself and of course Ron says Misty was in the truck with him and he had her call 911. Have *any* 911 calls been released from this incident yet, that anyone's aware of? TIA!
