Thank you fits with what some of us thought that NG screen was wrong and the fight occurred on the phone while RC was at work.

Haleigh Update: Is The Timeline Improving?

TJ Hart

There is some new information coming into The SKY News Room pertaining to the timeline regarding the disappearance of 6-year-old Haleigh Cummings of Satsuma who was taken from her home February 9, 2009.

News Talk 97.3 the Sky has learned the following information from several highly credible sources close to the investigation:

  • Haleigh's father Ronald Cummings had a fight with then babysitter -now bride Misty Croslin-Cummings at about 8:30 the night the child was abducted. That fight took place over the phone while Cummings was at his job at PDM near Palataka, FL.
  • Ronald's work hours that night were 4pm to 3am. Law officers and officials at PDM both state that Ronald was present and accounted for that night. Telephone records and cell phone pings lend strong support to those statements by law enforcement and PDM.
  • News Talk 97.3 The SKY hopes to get more information regarding Ronald and Misty's phone records shortly.

I guess that's as close as we're gonna get to an "official" confirmation? Why isn't LE disclosing some of this stuff- just the basics, even. I hate to say it, but it's starting to make LE in Satsuma look like they're bumbling around a bit. JMHO, of course.

I totally agree with your last sentence as I have been saying that for months. I am so glad there are fresh eyes with a new investigator at the FDLE.

My post from RT

I think and believe that LE is releasing this information now to once again apply more and more pressure on Misty, so she will tell what she knows about Ron's involvement.

If Misty thinks that she is going down for this alone and they are only looking at her, then she just might break and spill it all.

I agree with LFlorida. This is not the REALITY that we have all known and talked about for months.

If I'm wrong, I'm wrong...so be it. I could care less if I'm wrong, but I have good instincts and am going to continue to go with them.

My ego is nothing compared to a beautiful child receiving justice!

I don't care for TJH, but this would confirm what we have said all along that Ronald was at work...wouldn't it?

Do we know what the fight was about? I must have missed something.

I expect that this refers to the neighbor whose interview can only be located - possibly - if it was possibly on the 2nd hour of the Mike G show one day. Anyone who wants to pay $$$$ for it, can ask CNN for a copy and see if the neighbor is actually on the 2nd hour of that show. (unhuh...) My belief is that an interview proving that Haleigh was alive and well this late that afternoon would've been shown more than once....

Per TM, Ron was arguing with Misty at 8:30 - ON HIS WAY TO WORK. The AC man was there about 5-6ish. That leaves 2 and 1/2 hours for Haleigh to have been injured.
The only people who even question the timeline are here, imo, so why would they bother showing it more than once? It isn't a factor since LE knows she was alive and well plus playing in the yard up until the 8 hours in question by them. Now everyone should know that Ronald was at work during those 8 hours in question, imo.

Well, still doesn't clear things up for LE who stated "We're not sure what time whatever happened to Haleigh, happened."

We will not know that until we see an autheticated tape of RC the entire shift discussed without him going off screen. OR until a reliable witness states that they were within eyesight of him the entire time without interruption. I was born at night, just not last night. People leave work all the time.

IDK how the quote thingie got all kerfuzzled...I was quoting SS's post. HELP.

Thank you, cajun. I just wish that LE would specifically word this statement as "...present and accounted for during his work hours from 4pm to 3am."
Although it's implied, it leaves a loophole for other interpretation and has caused a lot of endless WS quibbling. Not that I think LE cares, but if they want good tips/info from the public, they also need to be more precise in their statements, IMO.

A logical assumption would be it was either a continuation of the original fight that led Misty to leave for her 3 day weekend away, or heated discussion of her 3 day weekend, or both. IIRC, we were given some family statements early on that implied that R & M discussed the weekend on her return and things were smoothed over. This is now clearly not the case and it raises some new possibilities about Misty's state of mind after Ron left for work, e.g., anger, resentment, revenge, etc. I don't think that Ron had any concerns over the safety of his children or he would not have gone to work and left them in Misty's care. He had other alternatives (GGA, TN). JMO.

He should have availed himself of them.....they may not have been coming off a major drug binge. IMO

No, they aren't. However, they are sure it happened within the 8 hours they said they have in question. Go figure!

Could it have to do with having Tommy over? Or someone else? This fight would have taken place not long after GGS' visit.

I have to believe they were not still fighting over the weekend since they supposedly made up. It doesn't mean something else didn't come up tho.

I guess I don't see the loophole, PDM confirmed as well as LE. If he was not there how could PDM say he was present and accounted for?

Whereowhere do I find that? Last I heard they don't know what happened or when it happened. I must have missed this jewel with so much coming out lately...

The Tommy visit could have been a factor, although we don't know whether or not Ron and Tommy were on good terms at that time. We only know that they were definitely not on good terms the night of the domestic disturbance. My guess (just a guess) would be that since Tommy had his kids with him on the 9th, this was a safe and ordinary visit, so probably not one that would have upset Ron. Of course, I really don't know. But, I doubt it would have been the caliber of M leaving for several days, partying with friends (who Ron didn't like), and being with another man!
The important thing is that by now, LE should be well versed in the details of the weekend aftermath and the phone discussions between R & M on the 9th and 10th. Hope this gives them some new additional insights!

According to Misty, Ronald did not get along well with Tommy. Timmy was the one he liked.

I don't understand why it is so difficult to believe that there are facts in this case.

LE states that the biological parents are not considered suspects...The two people that everyone wants to blame and hold accountable for Haleigh's disappearance have cooperated with LE and I am pretty darn certain LE made it pretty clear who they were looking into deeper. Who had inconsistencies.

It has been linked here so many times, but I will see if I can find it for you. LE said they have 8 hours in question which would be the hours between 8:00pm - 3:00am. People were not willing to accept it even if LE said it...so there is the rub.

Thank you elle< i Just don't get why everyone has to find a reason to keep posting something LE has confirmed over and over. It is beyond me.
