Marie, crystal, chad...CANT COMPARE with RC's He has been getting in trouble consistently for a loooooooong time. He has been caught with every kind of drug. BTW..where is he getting the money for all the drugs he buys? He has major issues and should never be left in charge of children.lie

To hear over and over again about DCF and they found nothing is a cop-out. All over this country, DCF types make big mistakes; and they did in this case too. To base your opinion of RC on what DCF and the courts have done is not an informed opinion. Look at the result...HaLeigh is gone...

Bottom Line..RC is responsible for Haliegh missing (directly or indirectly)...period.

I do know that Grandma Marie was dealing drugs out of her house while Grandpa was running a dog fighting business. Who knows what Crystal's record really looks like while a minor? Then you have Chad who had the most recent arrest for Cocaine charges. Lovely for the step-father for Haleigh and Rj and who is in the home with Rj every other weekend.

Those are your opinions. My opinion is that Ronald straightened up his life and took care of his children after those arrests. No one has been able to say that Ronald currently uses drugs, has drugs in his home, or is around drugs since that period of time. Until you can provide something to back up your statements with fact...I will be sticking to my opinion he is clean.

It is my opinion that DCF did NOT make a mistake in their latest investigation with all the eyes of the world, KP, Crystal, FDLE, PCSO, and the FBI upon them. I would have to think they made certain it was done properly or else they would be in a world of trouble over it this time. They found NOTHING to say Ronald did anything illegal or was found to be negligent, abusive, or otherwise threatening to Rj.

If Haleigh going missing is a direct or indirect result of Ronald's negligence...why isn't he charged? Why isn't Misty being charged for negligence if that is a fact?!

And I would like to add: If drugs, suspicions of drugs are a contingency, DCF and LE does require drug testing, if they come back positive you don't retain custody of the kids. I can tell you names upon names just in my area of the households where dcf was involved and the parents are required to take drug tests. It's a common tool for DCF, not to mention the courts can and does enforce them upon granting child custody.

LE knows lots more than we do. Seems with the new investigators, we're getting more info on a regular basis. I believe they have their suspect or suspects and are gathering corroborating evidence in order to gain an arrest and make it stick, because Haleigh or her body has not been found, so the threshold for them is different than having Haleigh to move forward.

They arrested Caycee when they received corroborating evidence of the forensic testing of decomp that came back positive in the car, along with the cholorform and dead hair forensics.

If it is a family abduction, and Haleigh is safe and alive, if LE knows this, then it's a cat and mouse kind of investigation.

I don't think so Darling, every parent in the world would be charged. I'm not convinced Misty went to sleep at all that night. Now knowing she intentionally shut her cell phone off during the critical time line in question, exactly when Haleigh was no longer seen by anyone willing to admit it publically, is just a major bombshell. hehehehe

I'm thinking her little "want to go babysit some kids" was an excuse she gave to Ron to go do what she wanted to, I'm just not sure if she took the kids with her. However, seems Jr. would have mentioned leaving and going riding, or give hints of not being home that night by now.

The only thing I can think of is JR must be saying they were all at home in bed. I know it seems obvious that RC, TN and GGMS are suspicious but just do not have any solid proof. So that is why I do beleive JR must be saying some things about where they all were that night. JMO

It was on NG last night as one of her "bombshells" Misty and Ron had huge fight right before M cuts her cell phone off because they were fighting over her wanting to babysit some other kids. I still don't know TN was even on NG last night. She wouldn't talk or give any new info so what was the point?

I have been following this case since the beginning and nothing about it has made sense. Nothing. But after the past 2 weeks everything is starting to make sense. I remember thinking how in the world can a child be snatched up right in the same room as the caregiver. Although I know it can happen....in my mind it just didn't make sense. The argument over babysitting or whatever it was...makes sense. It sheds much more light on the atmosphere of the home the night Haleigh went missing.. GGS casual trip to Ronald that night with some clean clothes, didn't make sense to me. But now since we have the info about an argument with Ronald and Misty the trip makes perfect sense. I believe RC wanted a status check, I feel like I could go on and on but I think you get the point. I think we are getting close.

Here is where the story leaves me flat. . . RC would not be calling MC and bugging her all night, he was working - so why turn off her phone?

If a phone is charging, is it "off"? Can be, yes?

Although cell phones are everywhere, not all employers allow people to chat on their cell phones while at work and employeed have to wait until break time or lunch time.

RE: RC's 10 hour shift 5-3. There would be two 15 minutes breaks - with pay and one 30 minute or 60 sixty minute lunch without pay. Perhaps he took his lunch hour (or half hour) first and refreshed himself with food and drink during his breaks. Start at 5:00, break at 8:30-8:45p, next break at 11:45 - 12:00 then off 3 hours later. Makes sense to break up the night into sections. Probably why he was hungry at the store and got peanuts.

IMHO Ron is not guilty of anything and he is standing behind misty and has from the very begining. He was the first to see misty and the home before LE and I would think that he would not of been fooled so easily under the circumstances if he had seen anything to suggest Misty was lying.(the bed made and her appearance and what she said to him when he arrived home.)

Deputies from a Florida sheriff’s office questioned the local couple Saturday afternoon at the South Yarmouth state police barracks in relation to the Feb. 10 disappearance of Haleigh Cummings, state police Sgt. Robert Finacom said. He referred all other questions to Cape and Islands District Attorney Michael O’Keefe.

“This is an ongoing investigation and the state police detectives assigned to my office are assisting the Florida authorities,” O’Keefe said Saturday night. “I’m not going to make any comments regarding an ongoing investigation.”

It's very typical of a 17 YO female. It's like saying "I'm not talking to you" after an arguement. It's a power play - you can't reach me and talk to me until I allow you to. It's out of sight, out of mind. It's like hanging up on someone and slamming down the phone, plus some. It's I'll do what I want and not what you say. It's a control issue.
(Not that these actions are limited to only 17 YO females... )
