Busy, I believe that Misty would cover for RC in a heartbeat. She just never had any idea when this started how big it woultd get and doesn't know how to get out of it now imo. On the other hand, I don't believe that Ron would cover for Misty, unless he was complicit and actually covering for himself, so to speak.

I just can't see Misty covering for him, I think she would of spilled by now - heck she has several offers from people who will rescue her and take care of her if she just spills. I don't think RC would cover for anyone. I also do not believe TN and GGS would cover for anyone.

I'm still wavering somewhat on which one "did the deed" which btw I do not think was intentional. But I always come back to Ron despite the various wk hours we have heard, etc, etc...BECAUSE I do not think there is a chance in he!! that he would cover for her. Does that make any sense, lol?

It makes sense to me. If she did it and he's suspicious of her and threatens to remove her teeth out of her skull the back way it would make her scared but if he talked her into some plot that "hey I have to pretend to suspect you so that you can cover for me" it would explain why she didn't run for the hills scared for her life.

It also would explain why he supplied some answers for her or why she kept looking at him like she was expecting him to answer for her in some of the interviews they did together. You got me into this, you answer this one, I don't know what to say. It doesn't make any sense whatsoever for him to answer for her if he hopes she'll spill some vital information.

It does make sense. I just can't place RC there at any time to harm Haleigh. I also believe if he failed a polygraph the heat would be on him and they wouldnt of put him at the bottom of the list. IMO there is gonna be one little fact that comes out and confirms it for RC that Misty has been hiding something and then I think things will change very quickly and we will have some answers as to what has happened to Haleigh. I still don't necessarily believe that Misty was directly involved, but I do think an opportunity was there and someone used that opportunity to take Haleigh.

You're right, he left her stranded there. It might be he was hoping to get the heat on her. But in the alternative theory it might be that he didn't have a ready answer for it either because he couldn't very well say that there are inconsistencies because the whole story was made up to protect me.

I understand what you are saying here .... but we are 7 months from the time Haleigh vanished. I would think the topic of her being missing would have come up at breakfast at least once by now.

RC and his family continue to stand behind her even after she took the test(s), the same test(s) that TN and MC herself requested and then failed with flying colors.

The fact that the Cummings family turned their backs and threw under the bus the man they so desperately wanted 'help' from just speaks volumes to me!

I just don't understand WHAT is it that he's expecting to confirm that Misty is hiding something. I mean, he's already suspicious and things that point to Misty hiding something are piling up. It's not like she's his devoted, deeply religious wife of 30 years who quite beyond all suspicion because she is bedbound and could never hurt a fly even if she wanted to which she doesn't, and he just can't believe she'd do anything. No, he already suspects her so why is it so difficult to convince him?

I could perhaps buy his being suspicious of polygraphs if it was only the polygraphs but there are the inconsistencies in her story and it's been said that he knows first hand that things at the home weren't the way they should have been if Misty's story was true, and LE must have given him some inkling of the problems in Misty's account, and the media have pointed out reasons to believe that Misty is hiding something over and over again.

What is it going to take? Is he suspicious of her and trying to get to the bottom of it or is he a blind, naively trusting husband because he can't easily be both at the same time?

Good point but I thought it was Teresa who organized it. Could they have explained to her that no, please don't call them, we don't want TES involved because we already know where Haleigh is and don't want her found?
It was a stupid move to do the tests, certainly. Misty should never have agreed to do it whoever she was covering for. Do you think she learned her lesson now?

Another thing is that it makes no sense to me for RC to stand behind Misty blaming these people of pressuring her and how they will never have anything to do with them again and to go on about lie detector tests being notoriously unreliable and how he stands behind her 100 % and TM and the testers must be wrong. Why, if he got the result he wanted from the tests: more proof that Misty is lying. Why would he want to cause any grief for TM who was just trying to help him?

I don't think there is a dispute that by December there was they had the wrong address, but the problem is that is not because RC gave the courts the wrong address. It would be because CS moved and didnt notify the courts of her new address.

JMO, I don't think she cared, but then I think MG found out and all hell broke loose. JMO

i usually never have a scroll bar at the bottom, to move the screen from left to right... Since you have been here longer than me, is there a way to fix what i am talking about? (if you know what i am talking about since your screen isn't doing it..lol) :banghead:

i'm on a spanking new lap top, gift from my daughter who came this weekend, ya hoo, it's hot pink, no margins blown, I know I would have that scroll bar, but it's something to do with the individual computers. If it was blown up, everyone I think would have the problem. I constantly had size screen issues and didn't know how to correct them. go to forum finesse, ask and he always knows how to help out concerning site and computer issues.
