I do not think such a thread exists. As far as we have been told, at the time Haleigh vanished "Ron was at work", the hours have changed, the times have changed, but we have been told he "was at work".

I do not think he has worked since the early morning hours of Feb 10, 2009, at PDM.

Personally, I'd be willing to bet good money that his last known employment was before 2/10, but that's JMO.

Does ANYBODY in that family work? tia

In fairness, Ron is only 25. Most people in their twenties don't have long job histories. I am not sure what his employment record has to do with Haleigh's disappearance, other than Ron was at work at the time she "went missing."

Well Ronald has a 6 year old child, every single one of those years should include a job, Rons dont- Most people by the time they are that age have probably worked since they were able-

Enough excuses for him-

I have always thought of myself as being a pretty good judge of character and being able to tell if a person is lying, but in this case all I have to go on is watching interviews on TV and what I read about it. I can tell you right now, , when somebody lies they have some reason most of the time. I cannot say why RC is lying, but I can tell you for sure that he is. Nothing in the case makes any sense to me. Listening to the 911 call, what I heard most on RC's part was ANGER and abusive language directed at his girlfriend.

Years ago, I had a missing child for about an hour, and I realize everyone's reaction to certain situations is not the same, but anger was not one of my emotions. I was frantic! I was looking for my child even while the police was taking the report, and actually I was the one who found him safe within the hour. I did not just report him missing and go sit in my driveway till the police came. I did not right away jump to the conclusion that someone had "taken" him as RC did on the 911 call......"if I find out who has my daughter before you do, I'm killing him.."

To me, and this is my opinion only, that just did not seem like a normal thing to say right off the bat. He was very uncooperative with the 911 dispatcher, not willing to even give the date of birth....."F her date of birth"....He provided ZERO information to the dispatcher...and then "give me my f-ing phone, I got better people to talk to than someone who aint coming". Who better to talk to did he have in mind? It was not like it was taking LE that long to get there, and wasn't Misty directed to stay on the line to the dispatcher until LE got there?

It is also odd to me that someone who had worked 4 hours overtime after tying 20 or more times to reach Misty by phone that night and not being able to, would stop at a convenience store on his way home to get cigarettes and peanuts.

Sometimes LE puts out information that is not true. This may be one of those times, because I am not so ready to believe that RC was at work the whole time as has been reported. Somehow, after not getting an answer after calling 20 times, he must have believed that Misty was home. What led him to believe that? I'm just wondering if it is a 20 minute drive from his work and we really don't know what time Haleigh went missing, how long would it have taken him to run home and check on them--after all, most people have a break to eat during that long a shift at work.

I agree, it doesn't have anything to do with it imo. He worked and supported his children like the single father he was imo. If he is unable to work now I definitely don't blame him.

I'm not questioning your support of Ron, but just to expand on your post Flossie, could you throw a couple of reasons out there why Ron would be unable to work at this time? I can't come up with any reasonable ideas why he would be unable to take a job. Thanks.

That's an easy one imo, his precious daughter is missing.

He seems well enough to don suits to sit at a camera for an appearance on NG's show on a regular basis. He sure was rushing fast to catch that limo ride to NY for his appearance...which was canceled at the last minute.

i don't see how anyone could go to work with a child missing, i would be depressed and distraut over everything.

He managed to get married and divorced in the time that his daughter has been missing.

They would go back to work just like the thousands of parents everyday who have lost a child or spouse. They realize that they still have other children to support and the bills do not stop. Not many people can just retire due to a tragedy.

that "marriage" leaves a lot to be desired.. i don't understnad what the reasoning was behind that. i don't think he loved misty at all.
when the reporter asked her about the divorce in the airport, misty, imo actually looked a little sad about it. i thought her voice was gonna crack at one point. i think with mistys background and all, she may have really loved ron as he showed her attention, her family obviously didnt do that!

Maybe Ron thinks he is "werking"? Between tv appearances and donations, he may think it isn't necessary to werk again.

Ron received that $12K some time ago......that sounds like it could have paid for a PI for all this time.......

The $12,000 that Ron received was child support arrears that was owed to Ron from the past 3 years when he received nothing. It was basically money already spent from raising the children, and he owes no one an accounting of how that money was spent. For the past 3 years when he received no child support - RON paid for the children's clothing. RON paid whatever doctor's bills they had - copays & medication. RON paid for their food and housing. RON paid for the care and upbringing of both children. Without receiving any child support, it's quite possible he got behind in OTHER bills, making sure that his CHILDREN were provided for in the first instance.

Receiving that $12,000 was money that was OWED to him. It was not some "gift", or sudden "windfall", like many like to make it seem. What he did with that money is no one's business but his own. It was NOT current child support - which is meant to go towards his children. I'll repeat-->> that was money ALREADY SPENT over the past three years when he did NOT receive it.

IMO, there are three reasons as possible answers as to why Ron married Misty:

1. He was advised by someone who didn't know better, that Misty could not testify against him if she were his spouse. Now of course, he and his adviser found out that that just wasn't true.

2. That was part of the "deal" made with Misty to keep her mouth shut. She protects his butt if he will marry her.

3. TN made him marry Misty so that the talk about "statuatory rape" would go away. It looked really bad on tv and on the internet for people to be calling her little boy a chid predator.

By the look on Ron's face following the marriage license event you could almost hear him thinking, "Man, why do I have to buy the cow when I get the milk for free?".

I didn't ask for an accounting, but it cannot be escaped that there was a sudden surplus in his pocket. He's looking for funds from donations to hire a PI.......I'm merely stating that this surplus, however in arrears it might have been, was suddenly there and available for just such a cause.

I was mistaken.....the limo ride was for the Maury appearance. He canceled on the Early Show and had his lawyer appear for him instead.

I want to know why crystal doesn't have to work, or be looked at? From the age of 15 to 31 years old, I worked 40 to 70 hours a week supporting myself and family. Even family like cousins and babies of cousins. Ron has his life turned upside down, with a magnifying glass twenty four seven.

I think it's time to train that never ending camera and magnifier on Baker County down there, give some in putnam a breather. I'm sure the moment ron hires, in some caring poster will call in and get him fired on the spot.

I'm raising my hand and voting for number 3.
