KOOL, I guess my point is; It wouldn't matter to me what LE's beliefs are. (as I said I realize that people are different, but THIS different?) If I had NOTHING whatsoever to do with my childs disappearance, it wouldn't matter if I thought I was suspect #1, I would not leave them alone until they answered some of MY questions. I would have to be escorted off LE's property and would probably still go to jail for trespassing! Would you not? In all seriousness KOOL, would you care whether LE's beliefs and yours were different? Would that actually keep you away? That's where I am having a HUGE problem in all this mess.

I understand Pondering, I don't think it is safe to assume (not that you are) but I don't think it is safe to assume that we, we meaning members of an online crime sleuthing community, have any direct knowledge of how often Haleigh's parents were contacting Law Enforcement to ask for updates about their investigation when everything got very quiet in Haleigh's case. I have my doubts that Law Enforcement would notify the public when they spoke to Ronald or Crystal. After reading and refreshing my memory as to how often we heard from Law Enforcement between the months of April and July it was pretty clear that the silence was by choice of Law Enforcement. I agree with you, I wouldn't be waiting for LE updates if my child was missing.

Ron finally started talking after he got arrested, a day after, focus on haleigh, not my behavior, blah, blah, blah-

There is no excuse for this mans disinterest in his missing child , not calling LE for 5 months is unforgivable and very suspicious-

It is difficult to comprehend but again, to camp out on LE's doorstep implies full cooperation with interviews they've requested (which now means dragging his lawyer along) as to do otherwise one risks coming off as a little insincere... they've essentially been saying, "Work with us, Ron!"

Ronald has met with the investigators that are working on his daughter's case SINCE hiring his attorney. I clearly remember watching Nancy Grace and seeing video of Ronald with his attorney after speaking voluntarily with investigators in regards to his phone records. Law Enforcement has made no secret of their investigation into the phone records however after Hankjr's earlier arrest for the gun theft charges and his claim that RC called the Croslin residence to ask if Misty was over there, I understand how it might have been necessary to take another look. It was then that we heard of the meeting between Law Enforcement and RC to go over the phone records again. I know of no request to speak with Ronald since then nor is it wise to assume that Haleigh's parents have not been in contact with investigators about the investigation into their daughter's disappearance.

Only time I've seen Ronald talking is on NG, with mom or attorney by his side, where he says nothing at all.

W the exception of Maury (w it's virtual reenactments :waitasec it seems even these ceased w the first tough question by NG. Ron is now tightly encircled by mother, grandmother, and attorneys.

I do not get the impression that anything has ceased.
I would have enjoyed the segment on Maury more without the reenactments.
I do not think Nancy Grace ever asks the right questions. That is why I try to phone in every chance that I get , however I have never made it through, ever.

Actually I have never read that Ronald was not in contact with law Enforcement. I realize there were quite a few months where it might have seemed things were at a stand still but Law Enforcement and family members were still concentrating on the case.

Here's hoping that with the the start of a new day and the hope of a new week we will see a miracle for Haleigh Cummings and all of those who love her and miss her. Most especially Jr.

Art Harris was a guest on Levi's show last night and he said Ronald Cummings has a new girlfriend who is of legal age and an exotic dancer. The couple were seen shopping together in a supermarket. Art mentioned Hank's recent arrest and he sounded annoyed with the psychics that are sending in tips. Art and Levi discussed the recent benefit concert for HaLeigh and he said he would post a report on his website. Apparently there wasn't a good turnout and that's why the reward money hasn't increased. Art Harris's brief update on HaLeigh is near the end of the show. I'll finish typing the transcript later.

And how do you know he didn't do this? LE has not said he didn't do this. And what he said is correct, if he was at work what more could he tell them? Unless he has some psychic abilities, it's hard to tell what goes on at home when you are at work. IMO.

Well, since LE made it public that they wanted to talk to Mr and Mrs Cummings and they would not come in, I take that as a clear indication that Mr Cummings was not dialing them to offer his thoughts on the case. Further, GGM is on record as stating that they have not talked to LE in months.....it was a sore bone of contention for her, too. It was right around the L-pond search and draining.

I hope I'm not having delusions but when Ron said I was at work , I think that statement was about when Haleigh was taken. Ron stopped working when she disappeared and hasn't been back, so hes not been at work to prevent him from talking to LE now or during the time since she disappeared.

I just want to add that I remember when this topic (Ron not contacting LE) was hot and heavy in the threads. Everyone was speculating as to why he wouldn't want updates about Haleigh even if he didn't know any new info. And at that time the answer was and is still indicated in my opinion that he had knowledge of what happened to Haleigh and was aware of her location. But thats an opinion and I have no exact knowledge of that as a fact.

There are days when I just shake my head. The last thing Ron needs to be thinking about is ANOTHER gf..................sweet Jesus. Poor JR. this changing women every few months is not something he needs.

I think the curiosity lies more in why he wasn't checking on things (often)? Not so much what he could tell LE but why he wasn't checking the status of things with LE to see if any of the leads coming in were adding up to anything. That would make me wonder.

And of course, GGM was quite upset that LE wasn't keeping them in the loop because they hadn't heard anything in months. One would imagine if one made regular calls, one would be updated as to the status of the case. That says to me no one in Ronald's family was making the call.

Let's look at the positive side. According to AH anyway this exotic dancer is at least a woman--versus a child. That is a step up. Not sure what happened to "keeping his enemy close" tho, does this mean he's given up all hope of gaining info from the one girl he claims to believe has knowledge of his daughter's whereabouts? Because Misty has faded into oblivion now and AH said Ron seems "happy." Dunno, maybe he has that PI tailing her.
