Teresa was talking about Jr. having a big feast and having fun playing games.
IMO, she tried to keep things as normal as possible for Jr., by having Thanksgiving at "Popa Jeff's". Her post was thanking everyone for their prayers and letting everyone know that Jr. was ok.

Now, if you add that to the interview with AS, stating that Ronald was spending Thanksgiving with friends, my logical conclusion would be that JR spent Thanksgiving with TN.

Why must everyone make excuses for Ron. He chose his friends over family.

Seems to me that Ron should be more loyal to his family due to their dilligences at protecting him and coming to his defense like they do. But, IMO, Ron expects the women in his life to do just that, in fact he most likely feels entitled to it.

Speaking of injuries and accidents... Didn't Ron C's attorney (Kimball, I think) state something to the fact that Ron C took prescriptions drugs due to work related accidental injuries he had received...Anyone know what accident and injuries he was referring to and did this accident occur before, during or after the time he was employed with PDM?

I wonder if it was Oxy's.

I'm not making excuses for Ron. You don't know where Junior was.

After reading my post, does that sound reasonable to you?

You are absolutely correct. His attorney made a statement early on explaining that Ron was not on illegal drugs. He was on prescription drugs for pain for his various injuries. I have asked and sought the answer many times for what serious injuries had Ron received and when to support prescription pain medication but so far, nothing has been offered except that it was easy to obtain pain medication prescriptions from the pain clinics around Florida. I do know that people who operate cranes can not be on any narcotics including pain medication. I've also tried to find any documentation for evidence taken from the mobile home. Of course, until someone is arrested the Sunshine laws will not come into effect. I would like to know if prescription medication was found in the mobile home prescribed to Ron. If no prescription medication was found at all, then IMO, the home was cleared out prior to the 911 call. Comments are my own opinion and thoughts.

I don't know, I was just wondering when it occurred and IF it occurred before or during his time at PDM how he could pass a drug test...To my knowledge he hasn't been gainfully employed to have sustained any work related injuries since Haleigh disappeared...JMO

Seems like it was some pain pill because Hank sr. accused him of trying to kill him when rc gave some pills to hank. Usually when an attorney says injuries and meds, it is likely for pain. Of course he may also have been given xanex along with the pain meds. tn also said she had been given oxy....WTH is going on with Drs there is my question.

rc would still pass a drug test even with xanax and pain meds in his system. all he had to do was report it on the paperwork and explain they are prescribed meds.

He could "pass" the drug test if he were to be up front with his employer and produce the prescription before the drug test.

I have adult ADD and take adderall which shows up as amphetamine in the test. When I got my job I brought my prescriptions with me and told them up front. I knew it was going to show up as positive, but there were no repercussions because I was honest with them.

I thought the info about the pain meds came up because Hank accused Ron of trying to kill him with those pills. I thought that the only reason that Ronalds attorney brought it up was b/c of Hank claiming, and they had to have some way to explain that Ron had those pills.

Maybe i am all mixed up again. JMO

Prior to drug testing you have to list and at some plants actually bring in the prescription bottle showing what medications you may be on so that if the test shows positive for some drugs you will have the necessary documentation showing a reason why, in some cases, the test was positive. If he showed this prescription prior to being tested and it did explain away any positive test results, I still do not think that he would be allowed to operate any moving equipment. My past experience in hiring and qualifying crane operators tells me that. Certified crane operators also have to have a physical as part of their certification. If Ron was suffering from various injuries, IMO, he would have a problem with passing the physical requirements.

And maybe not.. I do recall now that the statment by his attorney was made not too long after Hank Sr. made the accusation..

I bet it was that reason he was not doing his normal job at the plant when Haleigh dissapeared, they took him off the crane because he was on narcotics.

IMHO Ron C and family don't need a concerted effort on the part of anyone to make themselves look bad.. They have managed quite well on their own....
And for the record, I don't view the Sheffields or the Griffis as saints either, but I don't believe they had anything at all to do with whatever it is that happened to Haleigh, nor do they know what really happened...IMHO..
They have been denied the truth, left in the dark, while the Cummings know the truth yet still attempt to continue to lay some suspicion on CS and MG's door step..To be perfectly honest, as I see it, the Cummings have attempted to lay suspicion on anyone and everyone, it doesn't really matter who to them, just as long as it isn't Ron C or any of them...JMO

Hi Emeralgem, I've got my arms around your post in complete argeement. I think and probably the rest of us, can only judge the situation by the behavior and statement from Ron and Company.
But, my question above all is, why. For what reasons are the Cummings' going to an extent to cover for Ron and cast suspicion on others. When I see this type of behavior all I can thing of is that someone is trying to hide something. Could that something be the truth of what happend to Haleigh?
jmo

My understanding is he was out in something they refer to as the North 40 that night..

Didn't the attorney site where they gave releases disappear soon after the DCF investigation concluded? Does anyone know if there is another way to get to that information, like maybe someone saved it?

I highly suspect that to be the case....And IMHO that is quite sad when you really think about it because in all honesty I do not believe that what ever it was that happened to Haleigh was done purposely...It was an accident.. A tragic and careless accident due to his rageful out of control behavior, but an accident just the same... JMO

Yeah, at the plants I worked, we also had a "north 40". That is where the "laydown yards" were located, way at the back of the plant. Miscellaneous steel, material, parts, equipment were stored there. Usually very dark and usually close to the river dock where barges are unloaded. Wasn't the reported "three hours overtime" for unloading a barge? That is what I recall.

What if Ron does not have custody of Jr. That could clear up the mystery and confusion.

And maybe not.. I do recall now that the statment by his attorney was made not too long after Hank Sr. made the accusation..

Almost from the start of this case, rumors abounded that Ron was on drugs, selling drugs, buying drugs, robbing drug dealers, then the Geraldo "questioning" and also Hank Sr. claiming that Ron was trying to kill him by giving him bad drugs, you name it, drugs became the common denominator and soon thereafter, the attorney came out with his statement about Ron's prescription drugs.
