While DSC has found there wasn't life-threatening abuse in the home, there was enough abuse to warrant parenting classes again. This will be the second time that RC will have to attend, iirc. I pray that RC & TN WILL come out swinging to help FIND HaLeigh. She deserves so much MORE than she's been given in her life. All of this is JMO.

I cannot find an article stating he is required to take parenting classes.

The statement saying there was "enough abuse" is totally incorrect since DCF states there was NO evidence of abuse at all.

The firm says Haleigh's brother, Ronald Cummings Jr., will continue to live with his father, and that Mr. Cummings will take parenting classes with Misty Croslin Cummings, the woman who put Haleigh to bed the night the she vanished.

There are NO findings of abuse, and I don't know why people continue to try and spin things. The case is CLOSED. NO FINDINGS - NO ABUSE. That is why the other thread is closed.

I do not think parenting classes are a bad thing at all. I think all young parents should take a parenting class. I think Crystal should be required to take one, also. Everyone can benefit from learning to be a better parent because NO parent is perfect.

As far as I can tell, this is a non-story. Ron is CLEARED. There was NO ABUSE.

I don't have a problem with Misty and Ronald taking parenting classes since she wasn't married to him when he took them previously. IMO, they are to benefit Misty in developing her skills as a parent and should be considered a positive action.

It's over, there was no abuse, no reason to take the kids. Kim quit or has been fired,I believe the latter, all that dramarama is over, finally after 4 months.


I hope Crystal and Ron can come together as a united front and get PCSO off their duffs and find Haleigh.

Oh, Gosh! It would make me so happy to see Crystal and Ronald put an end to this fighting to do the right thing for Rj and especially for Haleigh. I don't see it ever happening, but it is a great thought.

He has been fully vindicated with respect to being a good father, provider, and within the law in regards to his children's wellbeing and safety. Therefore, the drug charges, any neglect or any illegal activity including Misty's involvement with the children has been thoroughly investigated and determined to be unfounded or not an issue pertaining to the custody of the children. Those issues have been resolved by the findings of DCF. I see no reason to discuss them further.

I expect them to be able to clear Ronald of any wrongdoing in Haleigh's case very soon.

Do you have a link that supports the assertion that DCF has declared him a "good father and provider"? I think the release said no evidence was found. Period. Drew Peterson kept his children for quite some time after murdering their Mother.....seems to me Good father awards are not given out in the release of findings.

May I please say they said no phsical abuse.They do need to look into any drug use by him and MC and the life style they were living.This is not a good and fit environment for any child to be in.They need more than just parenting classes.They need rehab,Change of life style ect...I do not feel these children were in a good environment at all.I will keep JR in my prayers.He looks like a very sweet little boy and my heart really goes out to him.

I will agree with you that they found no evidence of abuse and that Kim is no longer on the case for Crystal. they did not however, state that Rc is a "great Father and provider" and that was what I was asking SS for a link to. Thank you. Enjoy the day...one never knows what tomorrow may bring.

Kittylyn - I can handle the truth. I am a product of a no evidence finding...until they let it get bad enough that there was evidence. I know whereof I speak.

DCF is not involved in investigations of abduction and/or murder in FL. Did they change procedure and I did not see the link?
