It also means during the four month investigation they spoke with Haleigh's Principal, Teachers, Doctors, Nurses, neighbors, relatives, and others to reach their conclusion. This should be very helpful to LE in clearing Ronald, imo.

DCF is not involved in investigations of abduction and/or murder in FL. Did they change procedure and I did not see the link?

LE will have access to those records, IMO. This is nothing out of the ordinary in an abduction/murder of a child. They should request copies of those records, if they have not already been delivered copies. Child welfare/child services records can and do play a very important role in any missing child case. It would alert LE to abuse which in this case...it proves there was none.

My focus is on Haleigh and finding Haleigh. The best thing for this investigation in order to find her is to clear Ronald first then worry about Misty. The more people LE can get through their thick skulls that did not do this...the faster they will get to the perp that did, IMO!!!

I am sorry you had to go through that but that in no way has anything to do with this case. DCF was in the national spotlight, they went past their usual 60 days, they were going to make damn sure they left no stone unturned, they investigated all the recent complaints, and they crossed all their t's and dotted every i.

I'll say this and then go on to some where else.I don't feel he needs to be cleared of any thing.I feel he made very bad choices about having MC be the care giver of his children.He played a part in this.I don't feel these children were in a fit environment at all and I do feel very strongly both of thier lifesyles and friends may have led to Haleighs disappearance.They need to think of JR's welfare now.

There are going to be those that feel Florida DCF did not do enough to thoroughly investigate Ronald. I am almost certain that Florida DCF knew there would be a vast number of people in Satsuma....and all of Florida for that matter....that would be scrutinizing their decision. I wonder if this is perhaps the reason that it took almost four months for them to reach their verdict. I do not envy the investigators, because I am sure that they realized their findings would not please all people. I do not think they would take the decision to let RJ stay in the custody of his dad lightly. The findings today are at least reassuring that RJ is safe....at least. The most we could hope for is that Ronald and Crystal join forces and put all the past aside so that Haleigh can be brought home.

I heard Crystal is giving an interview in a few minutes on first coast news and action news reported that Ron's lawyers are also out but it's not on their website yet.

I will post them as soon as it shows up on their sites..

Rj's welfare is fine. The state said so.

Misty is now the legal stepmother of Haleigh and Rj so leaving the children with her before, IMO, is no worse of a choice than leaving them with her now...which the state says is in their best interest.

The environment was declared to be fit as per DCF.

Their lifestyles evidently have proven to be such that the state feels comfortable leaving a 4 year old child involved in and feels is in his best interest.

Ronald has custody not the GGM. Right now he is with his mother for summer visitation and spends every other weekend at their temporary home.

I believe he is innocent!! Of course I feel he is worthy of pressuring LE into publically clearing him. I think they should clear everyone who is innocent in this case and get on with finding the real perp! We know that the entire world besides the AC man did not kidnap Haleigh...yet they can still clear no one?! BS!! I don't buy it for a second!! They can and they should!!! It is wrong what they are doing to this family and to others!! :furious:
