This is my understanding as well. ~ $12K has been paid to the State on Crystal's behalf, but we do not know how much, if any, has been disbursed to Ron.

Has anyone else noticed how close the child support amount and the bond amount is? I just thought it ironic in a way. And, yes, before anyone tries to teach me anything, I already know that you only pay a 10% on a bond, I'm just posting an observation.

Hank (Tommy) was not sent to the hospital, LE said he chose to go there. Huge difference. LE states that in the press conference.

During the press conference, LE also states that Tommy's injuries were "minor and insignificant". Those were his exact words.

Here's a link in case you need your memory refreshed.

(If the correct video does not pull up, it is the 7:24 video on the right hand side)

I'm not saying that he is hurt or not hurt but it is a fact and not a rumor that neck and back injuries are not visible to the naked eye of a police officer.

And the support for this statement ? Or, is it an opinion stated as fact ?

Well, if you look at Ron's past arrests and the fact that he did not serve time for some very serious charges, then it is probably a safe bet that he will slide right through these charges as well. KWIM?

apparently, RC has enough money in the bank to pay the $12,500.00 or the 10%. I am sure he wanted out as soon as his bride could get the money from wherever he keeps it.

Paying the whole amount saves them from losing $1,250. I noticed AS escorted her....does Misty go anywhere alone?

Well, yep. I guess we should adjust our expectations, accordingly. You're right !

Well, that's interesting. How does the insolvency affidavit work ? Is it filed before or after bond is posted ? Or does it allow for the filer to withhold funds for bail ?

There is no information on where the Bail money came from, it could in fact have come from the family in general.

Hope not...it all depends on Hank Sr and Lisa. If they want to stand behind their Son or their daughter....we will see. The State will need them to proceed in order to be confident of a conviction.

Exactly

Regarding posting and assuming RC paid his own bail.

That is exactly why I used the word "apparently" because Misty paid the bill not AS.

to view a person as a victim at the point where, regardless of their prior actions, they are retreating from the scene. When poor RC was no longer in grave danger form the Croslin gang and they were attempting to drive away he chose to perform the illegal action of entering the vehicle and beating the person attempting to leave. There is no spin to put on this action that makes it legally justified. It doesn't matter why the Croslins went over or what they said or did, at the point where someone is retreating you can no longer claim any blows you strike are in self defense and thus those blows are illegal under under the law.

As far as putting a spin on things, your description of a gang piling into a car and charging over to a house uninvited etc sure sounds like spin to me when it's also easily described as concerned family members responding to a cry for help from someone who is being abused. What was that you were saying about seeing both sides?

(bbm) Thank you btm for taking the words OUT of my mouth... and sparing me from trying to state the exact same thing... only probably not as well.
:parrot:

Sure hope the Croslin family stick together on this matter....and give John Morgan a call. Morgan and Morgan for the people.

  • #253
Do we know who paid to bond RC out?

  • #254
I don't think there is anything complicated in this "family dispute". This is normal behavior for them. The Croslin gang shows up at GMS's house late at night and refuses to leave. Lots of shouting and name calling, punches are thrown, HC2 got the worst of the deal so he called LE and had RC arrested. RC will not serve time, thank goodness.

If MC wanted to leave, she would have jumped into the car with her family and left. She didn't.

(bbm) Agree w bolded... nothing unusual for RC or GGMS anyway evidently she's learned to break up her grandson's fights, shove folks in and out of houses & cars--yet still somehow emerge miraculously unscathed (insert inappropriate laughter) OMGROFL!! :floorlaugh:

:ashamed:

Ok geez, sorry... now back to the topic... where were we? Something about RC not serving time? Probably not, that's part of the problem but par for the course.

did they really pay the whole 12k?

MOO i don't think Misty is allowed out alone,
i noticed that she was not driving...and Ronald didn't open the door for her when she got in the backseat of the car. guess the honeymoon is over!

  • #256
If they wanted to save $1250..then they paid the whole bond...we will never know.

I read that Misty posted the bail. She can't drive but she can pay...lol. The wedding has made her an adult now, by law, correct? She is allowed to drive now legally, I assume. (oops)

  • #257
Only if she has a drivers license, which I think was used to post a restraining order against her brother

  • #258
Come think of it, they very likely may have posted the entire bond because in most cases the bondsman would wire the money.

Snipped & BBM

You know that Misty has a driver's license as it was the ID when she got a restraining order against her brother. I'm sure I saw you comment on it. Just in case you missed it:

10% on a 12,000$ bond. So 1200$. Someone bonded him out.
