I’m pretty sure Mr. Moonves will be let go on Monday with a huge payoff the shareholders are going to demand it. I don’t know if his wife Julie will be able to remain on the talk she probably wouldn’t want to be on the network that outsted her husband

She tweeted her support of him. She might end up regretting it because it seems like the first stories that come out are only the tip of the iceberg.

OK, just got thru all of these links. Seems like the guys in all these me too stories think sticking their tongue down your throat is a smooth move. Or maybe it's just a power move? I don't get it.

It will be a shame if her career is severely impacted by his alleged past behaviour. Being from the U.K I don’t know how well known a presenter Julie Chen is in the U.S I know she is on The Talk and also Big Brother.

I wonder how the CBS shows will be affected they better not cancel The Good Fight.

I really like Julie Chen and The Talk. I am sad for her and her son. $$$$ isn't everything I guess....

Until this story, I'd never even heard of Julie Chen.

I'm a huge Big Brother fan, and love Julie Chen. I hope this doesn't affect her hosting the show this summer.

I was reading this morning that the CBS Board of Directors is meeting today. In all likelihood (IMO), they will oust Leslie - he has a huge severance package so it won't hurt him at all! But it would be doubtful that Julie Chen would stay at CBS if this happens.....

Just food for thought.

After I made my post, I did some research about her and found she had an affair with this creep. IMO, she deserves all the shame and discomfort that will reign down on her over this.

Wonder if he has a clause in his contract that would allow the Corp not to pay him his severance. Seems like that happened with Matt Lauer.

Agreed. Although I really like JC, I read about this also. They will do to you what they did to others, etc......IMO. There is an 8 year old boy in the middle of this though, and he didn't do anything to deserve it. Wonder if JC will stick by him once the allegations are proven? He almost admits it in his statements.

CBS Board has just voted to take NO action. I’m shocked.

CNBC reported on Thursday that CBS' board has offered Moonves a roughly $100 million package to leave, comprised almost entirely of company stock. Under Moonves' contract, the 68-year-old could be owed as much as $180 million in severance - as well as a production deal - but the CEO is facing challenges on a number of fronts. He's been battling National Amusements over board control, in addition to the harassment complaints.

Disgraced former CBS CEO Les Moonves, who's been accused of sexual harassment and assault, has been denied the controversial $120 million severance package contained in his contract, the network's board of directors announced on Monday.

The decision follows an investigation by two law firms into the allegations against Moonves which culminated in a graphic report that concluded that the company had ample of reasons to fire the television executive for cause, subsequently paving the way for it to withhold the whopping payout.
