I have not been able to find out much of anything about Rory or his disappearance, but I note that someone on Ancestry has this name/age and is listed with a death date of August 2023, but with no confirming media or citations. He's pictured in naval uniform. Not sure if the family knows something that's not been made public yet, or if they simply believe that he's deceased after all this time.
