Sorry Kent! Hope I didn't derail the thread too much

I've been waiting patiently for you to get back to update us on anything else you could find out as you are so good with your detective work on the machinations of the media and the defense team.

A couple of things though, she did not suddenly appear on day 3, she has been there since day 1 of jury selection. None of us could figure out who she was and were left with a "larger lady with black hair" we kept asking though...lol

Andrea Lyon was not awarded more hours nor is she the mitigation specialist, that is Jeannie Barrett. Ann Finnell however did ask for extra investigative hours for an IN STATE person and I suspect she meant Rosalie Bolin - but how did she meet Mrs Bolin? The ties to Larry Garrison are interesting (especially considering there is no love lost between him and Cindy - remember the emails?) I also think it's interesting that Rosalie is fluent in Spanish.

I wonder if Rosalie is someone that Larry recommended to Baez and then Baez demanded that Finnell use her for mitigation/investigation purposes. Let's not forget that Baez is looking for his pay dirt too, in my opinion. Is it beyond the realm of possibility that his hands might be all over this? Who else knows ICA better, who else has any chance of controlling her? Look at the court shenanigans the past few days... are we seeing a power play? How else can Baez get his/a story out there and make money without breaking attorney client privilege? Also let's not forget this is the man who told the court he hired an ethics lawyer to guide him in the correct manner to behave ethically when he first took this case regarding deals with the media

I know there have been lots of coincidences (too many?) in this case, but this is no coincidence. The fact that RB has sold the rights to her story to Silver Creek Entertainment/Larry Garrison and that he ties back to the Anthonys is way more than a mere coincidence, IMO.

IF this is the reason she was signed on by Baez, it's the absolute lowest I have EVER ever seen an attorney go. I pray he's disbarred after Casey is sitting on death row.

Both Rosalie Bolin and her association to this case sicken me.

Oh no....I knew AL was not the mitigator....but Barrett is AL's mitigator that AL brought on board.....and I recall that during the JAC funding hearing, they discussed how many hours JBarrett had utilized and how many more were needed...

In fact, now that I am recalling that hearing, wasn't there mention during that hearing by Baez about bringing in an in-state as well and HHJP commented that JBarrett had already put so many hours in (and been paid) and he was NOT paying for a second? I will have to go back and rewatch hearing...

Exactly, that's what I'm saying. At that hearing, which is the one where Baez got his arze handed to him on a plate by Judge Perry ( cos he could smell some funny bidness) Remember, Ann got up to argue costs with Perry and the JAC, Mason and Baez got pulled into it because the accounting was off. Finnell stated she wanted an IN STATE INVESTIGATOR/MITIGATION SPECIALIST and JPerry got all up in their faces because they all ready had one, JBarrett. I watched the hearing again about a week ago and am pretty sure on the facts. This is the one where there was that discussion about photocopying and Baez was stuttering all over the place.

I'm thinking that Baez knew about this Bolin chick, maybe via Larry, and told Finnell to use her or else - Baez made Finnell get up and argue the costs for another mitigation/investigative person - Baez wanted nothing to do with arguing the motion....so he could keep his hands lily white?

Watch it again, you'll see what I mean.

Cindy claims it was JIM LICHTENSTEIN who "outed" Larry Garrison pocketing money from NBC for Anthony interview...when Anthonys were notified, Garrison was OUT and Lichtenstein was IN...

And now Lichtenstein has been to EVERY court appearance, suspected as research for a media deal...

Did Larry Garrison discover a way to "trump" Lichtenstein by getting "closer" to the "defense story"?

On doing a bit of Google 'research' on Rosalie Martinez Bolin, I read that she is a Mitigation Specialist who's area of expertise is using the excuse (my word) of a defendant's possible prior brain injury.

So, in the course of going back to Google to find one of those articles I read so I could link them here, I typed in her name, and the words 'brain injury'.

What I got in return were just as many articles discussing her serial killer husband's three known victim's autopsy reports and their head injuries.

Indeed, the irony is rich.

They don't call her husband 'Bolin the Butcher' for nothing.

Okay, officially disgusted.

So Rosalie wasn't kidding when she said she wanted to make millions of dollars so Bolin could have a "rich mans defense"?

As an aside, what does the phrase "rich mans defense" mean anyway? Does Mrs Bolin think that if you have enough money you get off? Cos that's kinda how I take it. I remember Michael Peterson saying something similar. I'm happy in the knowledge that Michael Peterson and Oscar Bolin are sitting in jail, one on LWOP and one on Death row respectively.

I don't understand the logic - you get a massively unlikable person who also has a massive amount of bad press (Mrs Bolin) to assist as your mitigation investigator to help your massively unpopular/hated client.
