ICA had those crying jags when the charges were read to the potential jurors. She appeared shook up on he first day of jury selection.IDK if RB was present then, but I got the impression she was brought in after that first day to keep ICA occupied , to appear as though she genuinely cared for ICA, and to be the arm patter since AF and DS weren't into that.

I take it that's not her official role with the DT,but her rapport with ICA came in handy in front of the pj's.

ASIDE))) I just stepped away to see if I really felt what I posted above and I still do.... I have been here since day 31.

BBM: :great: :great:

I wish I would have find WS on "Day 31" ... so, sometimes I go back to read some of the posts from Day 31 forward ... It has really helped me with all the intricate details not shown in the MSM.

I personally don't think she is out.. I think she has been in for some time... she has a business that is linked as a private investigator.. remember all those extra private investigator funds JB kept arguing for in status hearings? I think this MAY be her.

so even if she never shows up I think she did some/a lot of mitigation work here

moo

eta: I voted for we see her during mitigation because 1) I believe some degree of guilt will be determined by this jury and 2) if that happens she will be there (jury not the wiser.. they have been sequestered since the get go so they don't know who the hell she is)

btw: if I were a jury member and I later found out this woman were helping a defendant I would have SERIOUS problems believing any and all mitigation she was involved in.. MOO

I voted for mitigation period but if ICA starts majorly losing it they could bring her in earlier - only problem with that is that jury members probably know about her or have heard of her so I don't think that would be a smart move. However, having said that, the defense team aren't know for their smarts so who knows.

What I find funny is that JB was all "HA - gotcha!" when the one PJ was outed for his DUI, but at the same time figured none of the "idiot bloggers" or other people would figure out who RB was.

I think she'll remain in the background, unseen, IMO.

O/T: JB admitted today he quit school in the ninth grade. Isn't that illegal? How can a kid, age 14 or so, quit school? Or did he fail a grade or two as well?

Kids that young do it all the time. I remember when I was in 8th grade, a few of the boys dropped out. It was shocking. They were only 13 and 14, yet their parents couldn't control them.

There are ways to get around "the rules" and many, many children have done so and are still doing so. It's only the law-abiding people who think, "isn't that illegal?", while the others just do it. The dropouts and their families know how to skirt the rules.

I haven't voted in the poll yet but I do have a question. How many days did RB attend the jury selection? I definitely remember her the day she wore red and everything was hanging out. She may have been there the following day, too. I think it was Thursday and the next was Friday. She wasn't there on Saturday and I wondered if it was visiting day on death row. The following week, she was a no-show.

Just for the record, I think NG gets her info from here, :D although I think sometimes they read incorrectly because NG doesn't always get it right.

I suspect she will be involved in mitigation, but behind the scene.

So is she gone? I haven't seen her -- or is she behind the scenes. One scary lady (to marry what I would consider a serial killer) -- who I wouldn't want on my team.

“I’m a super mitigation specialist, a mitigation specialist on steroids. I’m going to show you I’m not crazy. Crazy like a fox. I am aboveboard. I have never done anything inappropriate.”

“A lot of them say, ‘Rosie, I don’t know what happened.’ They were drunk. They were on a drinking binge, a drug binge. It’s like peeling an onion. Sometimes you have to explain it to them. Your wiring short-circuited. Your mother did heroin when you were in utero. Your wiring short-circuited. Some people have poor impulse control. So what do we do, just exterminate them? I’m a caregiver. I’m a mother. I care about people. So flog me. I have human compassion. So flog me.”

“I will say this. Every case could be mitigated. There isn’t a case I couldn’t mitigate. I promise you I could mitigate a Cuban sandwich. Every problem has a solution. They are not excuses. They are explanations.”

This woman has been partying w Charlie Sheen. imo.

I figure she came on for Jury selection as babysitter seeing as the rest of the DT were busy selecting jurors and has since left. Bye bye RB :)

I don't understand why they wanted her in the DT. Weren't Casey and Baez already controversial enough without adding somebody with more controversy potential? I'd have gone for someone stable, boring, utterly dependable and conservative to counteract the other elements.

Just the latest in a long line of "true believers" who come into the case squawking about how much they believe in their cause, how righteous they are, etc. Then public opinion turns or money runs out and they're gone. Looks like attorneys need to adjust to this new fangled internet area we're living in. The tide has turned a bit and now the people have the power of information. How dare we question them lol.

I'm thinking: She will show up towards the end during DT presentation

Surely the state wouldn't dream of using her as a witness...? Unless it's to show the jury how she lied about Zanny.
I'm thinking she'll be more of a DT witness... Grasping at straws to show the jury that Casey "cares"

Oh duh... I thought you were talking about Robyn Adams.
OMG... It's time to go to bed!

The last time we saw her she had words with DS for showing the computer screen to Casey. That was the Friday of Jury Selection, she was not there Sat. You could tell she was very angry with whatever Simms said to her because she kept shaking her head and looking over there like WTH. So I'm not sure we will see her again.

grandmaj, thank you for that tidbit which I had missed entirely. I agree with you, even more so once RB's dubious 'status' was revealed. Then again, the DT does do some things that are like shooting foot so who knows! ;->

Isn't she some sort of 'mitigation' specialist? I don't think she's needed in this phase. She may still show up toward the end during the guilt or penalty phase.

I can't imagine that she would receive a lot of respect from the legal community due to her marrying a serial killer. IMHO I believe Simms would even get the ebbie-jeebies having to sit near her (I know I would). I've always wondered what kind of mindset a person has to have to marry someone who has been convicted of taking the life of another. It can't be pretty.

On that note, I think she's crawled back under her rock and is continuing her visits to hubby!

gahhhhh! I can't imagine if my son dropped out of school (he's 14) and a straight a/b student. What's with parents nowadays - you just have to ride them like horses and get the job done. We also rec'd a letter from the district attorney that if our son didn't attend school, I COULD GO TO JAIL! At first it was like WTH, until I realized it was a blanket letter. egads!

To get back to your question - Mrs. Bolin made her initial appearance on the third day of jury selection. I do not recall when she made her hasty exit ;)

Hugs,

Mel
