I hope his Mom hears from him soon - how worrisome for her. I did find his Facebook, nothing recent - he did have a fundraiser going last holiday season as he was unemployed and without housing, at least temporarily. I hope that situation has changed for him. Log into Facebook

The house he was house sitting at was on Hiller Road which is in Southwest McKinleyville.

Where his phone pinged (Willow Creek and Highway 06, also known as is 40 miles away, not something he could have walked. He would have had to had a ride that distance. No mentioned on the initial missing report if he had a car or not. McKinleyville to Willow Creek

I wonder who saw him last on Sept 22nd and when the house sitting gig ended. Was it Sept 22nd? Did the ex girlfriend have a new man in her life? MOO
 
I just listened to the interview with his mother. She said that he was with someone who takes his phone so he probably doesn't have it.

Strange there is no report of anyone picking him up hitchhiking. I live in McKinleyville. <modsnip: no source link> What I hate to mention is that the Mad River is just a half block away and it flows into the Pacific maybe a mile away. I hope he's alive and is hiding for some reason but it's been so long. Very sad didn't know him.

I was working with his mother since DAY 1 looking for him. I have asked her numerous times to see the alleged messages from him and still have never seen them to this day and I do not believe that police nor the private investigators have seen them either.
