Her parents never reported her missing...
Could it be the Hare Krishna/Krishnaite sect? There's a Russian Wikipedia page that lists Aleksei Arturovich Musatov (born in 1959) as a Krishnaite, arrested during one of the crackdowns on the group in Moscow in the early 1980s, as well as a Yandex search that shows a Krishnaite-sounding organization registered by someone with the same name...
At least I'd never heard of Hare Krishna, and a quick search gave me some interesting results... Specifically, the Hare Krishnas have a very complex past, with a history of legal issues related to brainwashing and child abuse... It definitely seems suspicious, all things considered...
