National Resistance Center: Wagner convoys head to Russia after fatal crash. In the aftermath of the plane crash that reportedly killed Prigozhin, convoys of Wagner fighters are departing Belarus and heading to Russia, the Center reported on Aug. 23.

Sources in Belarus said that some Wagner base camps were being dismantled the evening of Aug. 23, and that members of the private military group were forming convoys to leave the country.
"The convoys are likely heading towards the border with Russia," the Center said.
According to the Center's sources in Belarus, the Belarusian government did not authorize the mercenary group's withdrawal. Belarusian special services are reportedly trying to intercept the convoys at the border.

The Africa video was posted on Monday. I sort of wonder if it was recorded live that day or not, though.
What is also interesting is that on Tuesday, Putin fired Air Force Commander General Surovikin. And then Prigozhin was in Moscow by Wednesday...

This is a Very interesting discussion about possible motives and timing of the crash by NBC news. The Russian experts have some comments that note that both Putin and Prigozhin were in St Petersburg for the Russian -African summit meeting and he wasn't taken out there. It seems as though this was really a much more effective way to remove all Wagner influence.

Geez. The dude is good at what he does. Prigozhin must have known he was a dead man when his coup failed.
It’s bizarre that anyone would’ve wanted to be near him. Especially on a plane. Although I’d rather expect a poisoning or another weird “fall” from some high place.
That's what makes this so effective: It wasn't just Prigozhin, it was him and the major players that he trusted in his organization.

Have bodies been identified yet, especially Prigozhin’s? Or is there just a list of passengers so far? I can’t help but think that Prigozhin and his major people were not on that plane and are in hiding...outwitting Putin, for now.

I'm still surprised the elite of the Wagner Forces would fly together especially over Russian airspace. I'd think they travel separately for exactly that reason.
Even I realized that Prigozhin was a dead man walking after the failed coup two months ago.

They were representatives of Rusjet Airlines: Alexandra Yulina, chairman of the board of directors, and Sergei Klokotov, technical director. In order to get them into the guarded area and then on board, the buyers were declared as passengers on the flight.
After inspecting the outside and inside of the airplane, they quietly left.
