I'm glad Zelensky didn't sign that stupid deal. I wouldn't if I got yelled at by two Putin-supporting aholes.
Integrity beyond some other's imagination. You got it or you don't. Z HAS it, the others have WELL proven what they are, over and over and over.

When some people are mad at their boss, they kick the cat and shout at their wife.

A reporter from Russian state media agency TASS snuck into today's Oval Office meeting with President Donald Trump and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy,

“TASS was not on the approved list of media for today’s pool. As soon as it came to the attention of press office staff that he was in the Oval, he was escorted out by the Press Secretary,”

Snuck in? Give me a break. That was pure theatre.
A heated back and forth between @ZelenskyyUa, @POTUS, and @VP now in the Oval

What a disgusting display of schoolyard bullying. That is the US president of the United States and his tag team partner, the VP. He doesn't give a rat's 🤬🤬🤬 what happens to Ukraine he's that petty. He only cares about the Art of the Deal which obviously, based on his many failed businesses, doesn't work so he resorts to threats. Sounds more like mob boss than a president. Shameful.

What trump likes is a quick win and money money money...
What trump doesn't like... is to lose.

Sadly, tru;mp will continue to lie and twist Zelensky into Aggressor.
Even T supporters knew this one was a lie.

The entire world knows that Russia was the aggressor in all of this. Putin is always the aggressor, Putin is always a lier, and Putin kills his enemies all the time.

But now the candy-coated propaganda machine will kick into high gear; They'll say America and Russia certainly wanted peace, but clearly Zelensky is such a jerk and only wants to play soldiers. And so he will become the aggressor.

It makes me sad, actually, that some people just do not understand how powerful Russia is, and do not understand how easily they will be getting more and more misinformation.

Bottom line... it was always a lousy deal.
WITHOUT security, it is a suicide deal. And trump knows it. And putin knows it. Trump is looking all pissed off on the world stage, because he lost. Putin is just laughing his little head off.

off course, all moo.

I am truly hoping all our international websleuthers will keep us informed of reaction and response from their neck of the woods. It is always enlightening .

Watching the PC today made me glad that I voted for President Trump.

I very much like a strong President and not a weak one. I'm happy with the way he took care of Zelenskyy who couldn't even say thank you and instead attacked past American Presidents in the oval office. JMO.

Z was telling them that in 2014 Russia took Ukraine’s land and killed its people, and that no one did anything. Trump interrupts and says:2015. Z says no, it was in 2014. Well, I wasn’t there in 2014, Trump says casually (he means in office). Z then says that in 2019, he signed a ceasefire agreement with Russia, France and Germany, he was assured that Russia would never attack them again. But then Putin broke his promise, he attacked Ukraine again, took land, killed people. And Z then asks Vance so what kind of diplomacy are you speaking about? And then it all kicks off.

So it's good that Zelenskyy left without signing an agreement. JMO.
I'm glad the deals off. Proud of my guys. Moo

Further European leaders back Zelenskyy in remarkable show of unity

In a continuing show of unity among European leaders, more and more of them publicly back Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

We have now heard from at least 14 of them in the last hour.

European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen and European Council president Antonio Costa posted the same update on their social media accounts just now, saying:

Your dignity honors the bravery of the Ukrainian people.

Be strong, be brave, be fearless. You are never alone, dear President @ZelenskyyUa.

We will continue working with you for a just and lasting peace.
Outgoing German chancellor Olaf Scholz said:

Nobody wants peace more than the citizens of Ukraine! That is why we are working together to find a way to a lasting and just peace. Ukraine can rely on Germany – and on Europe.

Dutch prime minister Dick Schoof said:

The Netherlands continues to support Ukraine. Especially now. We want lasting peace and an end to the war of aggression that Russia has started. For Ukraine, for all its inhabitants and for Europe.
Luxembourgish prime minister Luc Frieden joined in:

Luxembourg stands with Ukraine. You are fighting for your freedom and a rules based international order.
As did the Portuguese president, Luis Montenegro:

Ukraine can always count on Portugal, @ZelenskyyUa.

Fox News interview with Zelensky going ahead

Fox News' chief political anchor Bert Baier has posted on X saying, external he's been told that his interview with Volodomyr Zelensky is still going ahead at 18:00 EST (23:00 GMT).

This is despite the Ukrainian president leaving the White House early.

Anything remotely associated with the extreme right wing of the Republican party is a trap, imo. I hope he reneges and gets the hell out of Dodge before it turns into the OK corral.

I am so disgusted with the American government right now. I can't believe how compassion and fairness exhibited by the US military at the end of WW2 has been overtaken by greed and bullying. Trump's treatment of a democratically elected president along with the slash and burn glee that Elon Musk is engaged in has finally lifted the curtain on the US's real agenda. It's not pretty but at least the rest of the world is getting a true indication as to depths this administration has sunk.

Trump boots Zelensky from White House after Oval Office clash, says he ‘disrespected’ US as mineral deal left unsigned.

Is this the actual word that Trump used---"disrespected"???.
Now that makes me angry. It really does.

He has "disrespected" soooo many people with such disparaging and relentless evil language... how can he even use the word "respect" or "disrespect" in a sentence.

Zelensky has given his heart, soul, and might for his country. Yes, we had non-stop lol's and memes about trump getting out of any military because of bone spurs etc etc.... HE'S the one who is disrespecting all that Zelensky has done for his country......

TBF Z couldn't get a word in edge ways for being constantly interrupted and talked over.

Unbelievable treatment of a foreign dignitary! It makes me sick.

What an absolute disgrace Trump was, it's actually embarrassing. It was full on bullying, not letting him speak or actually finish a sentence. America's leader can't even manage civil conversation! I really feel for Americans right now and can understand completely why they are so worried about the future :(
I was listening to bits of this while driving home from work earlier and have just now seen a Fox News report on YouTube about Zelenskiy being "kicked out" of the WH by DT.

All I can say - even from the brief bits I heard of this meeting - is what an utterly vile, repellant and bullying narcissist Donald Trump is. What he did is almost beyond my comprehension, quite honestly. It was absolutely abhorrent to hear.

If anyone in the USA thinks this was remotely acceptable or presents your country in a good light to the rest of the world then you need to give their head a wobble!

I almost can't find the words......in fact I won't even try tonight as the gin is flowing and the words I find will inevitably result in me getting banned on here!

This is a deeply sad day for democracy.

But Trump would never dare shout at Putin.
It's almost like Trump has some kind of implant in his head and any time he's around people who denigrate Putin, he immediately jumps to his aid. Sure he goes through the motions of sanctions but everyone can see there's something subversive going on there. It reminds me of this song.

I am truly hoping all our international websleuthers will keep us informed of reaction and response from their neck of the woods. It is always enlightening .

An article in the Sydney Morning Herald this morning (it is Saturday morning here) says that Trump is sending a wrecking ball through old alliances.
That if he can turn his back on NATO, Europe and Canada, he is capable of spurning the ANZUS and AUKUS pacts.

It says that this America is not our friend. It is a geopolitical business partner, on our side unless or until it finds a better deal.

Looks like all of those minerals may end up in Putin's control and become Russian assets instead of Ukrainian.

Good job Zelenskyy! JMO.

Completely and utterly shocking beyond all belief. It is completely unfathomable to my mind.

King Charles III has offered him a state visit (although, it's actually the Government not the Monarch which actually offers these things) - I sincerely hope that offer is rescinded forthwith!

When the King's offer first came through, I thought that the King is so diplomatic that he might be wanting to explain to Trump what is the right thing to do - in his most diplomatic manner. The right thing for Ukraine, the US and the free world.

Well, maybe Elon can settle Trump and Vance down; he's more worldly, ok other worldly, but that's where we are it seems.

All imo
