War is he ll. Calling for the U.S. to put boots on the ground in Ukraine is in my opinion utter insanity. Z messed up bad in Washington. I've said repeatedly Putin has fought a limited war. I truly believe that. It's a stalemated meat grinder. Send your own boys in to the gauntlet.
Yet in three years he could not take Ukraine. Something he thought he would do in days. No Z did not mess up badly in Washington. Far from it in fact. It did show the world though what they were dealing with with Trump and his words and actions the last week have just enlarged that vision.

And to think Elon Musk helped Ukraine at the start of the war by providing Starlink - and it's now taken away. MOO

Who ever said that? That they want American soldiers?. Never, not once, out of the question.

Please don't make stuff up. Provide a link.

He says for now, Ukraine still has access to Starlink - Elon Musk's satellite internet company - but they anticipate it could be cut off soon and are actively working on replacements.

The funny thing about the other day Europe were trashed for not putting feet in the ground although it was obvious why that was not done. It is wrong though that Putin has so much power IMO

The 81 million votes Biden got in 2020 beg to differ. He beat Trump by over 4 points and won the Electoral College 306 to 232.

But that was a rigged stolen election, remember?

"Britain and France plot to replace Musk’s Starlink in Ukraine"

"Satellites backed by the British taxpayer could be used to replace Elon Musk’s Starlink in Ukraine as the United States withdraws its military support for the country.
OneWeb, the London-based subsidiary of French satellite company Eutelsat, said it was ready to “swiftly deploy” equipment to Ukraine.
Shares in Eutelsat, which is 10pc owned by the UK taxpayer, have risen by 200pc since Friday, on the prospect that the system may replace Starlink, owned by Mr Musk’s SpaceX."

It's like being in Wonderland where up is down and wrong is right. I cannot fathom how Trump in that short clip says that Putin, hammering the hell out of Ukraine is because he wants an end to it. It's like living in an alternate universe. The man is unfit to be president.
Get your tanks, and missiles, and guns, and men, and get in there. Send those European men in to the fray. WW3 here we come! There is the true lunacy. Trump is an excellent President, I am more than proud to have him at the helm. He remains steadfast in his attempt to bring these warhawks to the table. Zelensky messed up real bad in Washington...it is he who is costing the lives.... warmonger.

The thing is opinion is not fact. The world disagreed he messed up bad. He was inundated with support last Friday night. Hell even China wants to help them.

Ukraine gets first funds from UK secured by Russian assets, Kyiv says

Ukraine has received its first set of funding from the UK via a scheme which uses the profits from Russian assets held in Europe, according to Ukraine's prime minister.

Posting on X this morning, Denys Shmyhal says this payment will be put towards "strengthening Ukraine's defence capabilities".

"We expect all sovereign assets of the Russian Federation to be confiscated and transferred to benefit our country in the future," the prime minister adds.

Shymhal thanks his UK counterpart Keir Starmer as well as wider G7 partners "for the mechanism to make Russian money work for Ukraine".

The initiative was announced by the UK government last October and will form the country's contribution to a wider £38bn ($50bn) fund announced in June by members of the G7 group of leading economies.

Meanwhile Russia, with 3-4 times the population of Ukraine, is bringing in soldiers from North Korea because it's own population chooses not to fight.

Thailand is flooded with Russians right now for that reason.

The US is not isolated. Rather than relying solely on our European allies, the US has spent years developing strong relationships, allies with others. Countries that have strong military capabilities.

European countries have involved into an isolated island. They bicker among themselves, and publicly announced their military weaknesses and failure to invest in defense. They've not developed strong relationships with non European countries.

The United States is a world leader. The United States has the most nuclear weapons. The United States has the most powerful army on Earth.

Most countries value a relationship with the United States. Zelensky did not.

Moo
We're talking real time here. Not a wiki page that lists countries with nuclear weapons.

Very passionate but not true. We're all here on tenterhooks waiting to hear who all those allies are. Should I start? Russia..... your turn.

How very warmongering of him. "Let's go Russia, let's go!!" (because the actual victim won't just bend over and take it).
As a much smaller country than Russia, and without nuclear power, Ukraine will definitely lose without help from the U.S. and Europe.

Trump doesn’t like to be a “loser.” It is one of his most dire weak spots. It’s why he couldn’t publicly admit he’d lost the election in 2020.

He’s certainly not going to align himself with a country that he knows could be a “loser” in a war against the might of Russia.

Trump did one very admirable thing this week, for which I am very appreciative. He had several hostages at the White House who were recently released from Hamas captivity. They were unanimously grateful to him. This was all wonderful, truly, but then he just had to say “so until I got involved you didn’t think you’d be free, right?”

I take nothing away from him helping to gain their release from Hamas hell, I am extremely thankful myself, but it shows how needy Trump is for praise and affirmation.

He has an unquenchable desperation to surround himself with “winners.” Beautiful women, rich men (the world’s richest especially), an obsession with men being tall (the first thing he always say about Barron is how tall he is).

He’s been elected president of the U.S., twice. I would hope that would be enough to satiate this insecurity in his character.

I would wish he would just go about using his power for good instead of evil, all the time. I think he could be a good president if he showed humanity more often.

IMO, JMO etc.

Again, Ukraine is its own country and is allowed to make the call on whether they join NATO or not. Putin and Russia should grow up and stop attacking because they “feel threatened”
Its NATO's members call to admit as a member. They don't meet many of the criteria. US is not the only one to say no.

Message from Oval Office that things will 'get back on track'

We're hearing now from an official in the Oval Office who says the president has been "crystal clear" to both sides that the fighting needs to stop and that both need to come to the table.

He adds that both leaders have said "only" President Trump could do this.

He points to an initial engagement with Russia, and the proposed minerals deal with Ukraine which he thinks will "get back on track".

Trump adds that he thinks they will "get it settled and stopped".

We need an eyeroll emoji.

Ukraine was illegally invaded. Considering this is a victim friendly form that is incredible. People are being killed or badly injured by an illegal invader and it one of the victims fault because foreign leaders like the sound of their own voice. Weird

Incidentally if the mad despot wants to get it stopped he could turn his troops out right now and stop this!
I haven’t seen any good solutions aside from a push for peace. What’s the end game? What are people hoping for?

No country is going to turn their troops out. imo

I live in Europe. I do not recognise a lot of what is claimed on here. France is not walking a tight line. The bottom fact is we can not give in to dictators whether it be Putin or Trump. Sorry but that is true. Russia has threatened to nuke us over and over since THEY started this illegal war. Still we helped Zelensky because it is the right thing to do. Incidentally if they do nuke France they will get nuked straight back and they know that.
Do you live in fear of Russia actually launching a nuke attack on us? Might stop us meddling in affairs that don't concern us.

If you could only hear yourself.
I would also suggest rereading what you wrote, calmly, as I do at times. Detached as how who I am writing to would think of my response. Such as why I think that, where am I coming from knowing that perhaps I am overly stressed out by other things in my life. MOO
