Anonymous is 'waging war' on Russia: Several broadcasts hacked

The hacker group Anonymous hacked Russian streaming services on Sunday, hitting Wink and Ivi, as well as live TV channels Russia 24, Channel One and Moscow 24 to broadcast footage of the war with Ukraine.

Anonymous also posted photos on Twitter showing that, instead of regular broadcasting, a message appeared stating that "ordinary Russians are against the war" and called for Russians to oppose their government's attack on Ukraine.

Anonymous has been actively targeting Russia in cyberspace since the initial assault on Ukraine began on February 24. In the days since, the group has claimed credit for several cyberattacks including DDOS attacks and the complete shutdown of government sites, which brought Russia's media and government sector to a grinding halt on the internet.

March 6, 2022 8:24 pm by The Kyiv Independent news desk

A total of eight missiles were launched by Russia’s strategic missile carriers in the Black Sea, according to Yuriy Ignat, spokesman for the country’s Air Force Command. The missiles have a range of up to 5,500 kilometers. The airport was completely destroyed.

And this COMPLETELY explains why the US SuperMegaDrone Global Hawk, known on FR24 as FORTE 10 was conspicuously completely focused over the Black Sea for the last 48 hours, just outside of Ukranian and Russian waters.

Judo federation removes Putin's titles

"The International Judo Federation announces that Mr. Vladimir Putin and Mr. Arkady Rotenberg have been removed from all positions held in the International Judo Federation," the federation said in a statement.

The federation had already suspended Putin’s honorary presidency of the IJF last week, the organization said. Rotenberg was a member of the IJF executive committee as “development manager.”

World Taekwondo previously removed the honorary black belt from Putin after declaring that the "brutal attacks on innocent lives" did not follow its motto: "Peace is More Precious than Triumph."

The organization also said that it would prohibit the display of the Russian flag and its anthem from being played during events.

Land mines littered a proposed route for Ukrainians to flee, Red Cross official says

A top International Red Cross official told the BBC on Monday that a proposed humanitarian zone in Mariupol, Ukraine, was lined with land mines, the latest sign of the struggle to allow women and children to flee Russia's war on the country.

"That is why it is so important that the two parties have a precise agreement for us then to be able to facilitate it on the ground," Dominik Stillhart, director of operations for the International Committee of the Red Cross, told BBC 4.

Stillhart said some Red Cross staff had tried to take the proposed route out of Mariupol before realizing that it was mined.

Ukraine Says Part Of Black Sea Port Of Olvia Has Been Hit (maritimeprofessional.com)
''Ukraine’s infrastructure ministry said on Monday that part of the Black Sea port of Olvia, which is under concession to Qatari sea port operator QTerminals, had been hit by a military “strike”.
Nobody was wounded, the ministry said without providing further details.
QTerminals, a joint venture between state-owned Qatar Ports Management (Mwani Qatar) and shipping and logistics group Qatar Navigation (Milaha), won the 35-year concession in 2020 to develop and operate the port.''

From Mines To AIS Spoofing, Assessing The Risks To Shipping In (maritimeprofessional.com)
''Commercial ships are being advised of the high risk operating in the Black Sea following Russia’s invasion of the Ukraine, with various reports of missile attacks on commercial ship, plus warning of the waters containing mines.
According to a press release from the NATO Shipping Center (NSC), there is a high risk of collateral damage on civilian shipping in the northwestern part of the Black Sea, citing several open source reports of civilian ships being hit directly or indirectly as a result of the acts of war in the north western Black Sea within Ukrainian territorial waters and adjacent international waters.''

"Grain pain" in the Black Sea

According to a report from EastGate Shipping, the Russian invasion of Ukraine and its ripple effects could dramatically affect grain cargo and bulk freight cargos in the region.''

''And while the Russia-Ukraine conflict is very likely to grind the global wheat supply, French wheat will probably be in more demand, according to Eastgate, as well as Australia which expects a bumper crop of 39m tons this year''

Poland has not and will not send its fighter jets to Ukraine to support the embattled country’s defence against Russia, Polish government officials said on Monday.

Marcin Przydacz, a deputy foreign minister, said in an interview on Radio Zet:

“We will not open our airports and Polish planes will not fight over Ukraine ... Polish planes will not fight over Ukraine.”

But, separately, the government’s spokesman Piotr Mueller indicated a final decision had not been made, the Associated Press reported. He said that the decision on whether to send fighter jets presented risks and was a “very delicate matter’.

Poland has been less than enthusiastic about the idea, at least publicly, largely because Russia has warned that supporting Ukraine’s air force would be seen in Moscow as participating in the war and could create a risk of retaliation.

I can see Poland's position, creates opportunity for Putin to attack. Its my understanding the planes were acquired from Russia.

They need planes. Pray for planes!!!

Why can't Ukraine buy planes? The world has send billions to support them. Will no one sell them planes?

Moo...

It would be a good time to read (or reread) Nevil Shute’s book On the Beach. It haunted me the first time I read it, and conditions today are eerily similar.

I totally agree about the drop off...this was created over the backs of the Russian people, corruption all over. Time for a very secret operation.

IMO, I would like to know more about the pros and cons. It would also be interesting to know if there is more to this that isn’t mentioned. Is it a temporary band aid solution to give Putin time to get his military back in check?
I am uneasy about anything proposed by Putin.
I so agree, can't trust him, his government or military. But if there's a way to get those invaders out of Ukraine it's at least a starting point. Many fortifying things can then be brought in over time, undercover. If they leave, Ukraine needs to shore up their defenses quickly and thoroughly.

I'm wondering if it was the mining of the Odessa area harbor and beaches plus the blowing up of a Russian Navy ship in the Black Sea that finally had some effect on things.

Snipped by BBM for focus...

The Kyiv Independent on Twitter - 18 minutes ago
⚡️Russia claims it will stop the war immediately if Ukraine agrees to:
- cease military action
- change constitution to enshrine neutrality
- recognize Crimea as Russian territory
- recognize the Russian-controlled areas of Donetsk and Luhansk as independent states

Source: Statement by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, cited by Reuters

Honestly, IF agreeing to those terms means Russian forces LEAVE Ukraine IMMEDIATELY, I would say ok, DONE!

Ukraine can always never be able to come to an agreement as to the language of that "enshrined neutrality" in THEIR constitution. it could take...forever...to get that done...ratified.

So it's really Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk... well at the present. Agree to those too, set up borders and then set about reinforcing them, not forgetting Belarus in the matter.

If Putin's Russia wants to be an island, so be it. But woe be it to Ukrainians to let this happen again in 5 years. Ukraine needs to secure it's borders just like West Berlin from East Berlin. Yes it's an undesirable thing, a HUGE step backwards but that is Russia's dictator's doing. Putin wants to go back in time.

But walls can always come down...when true leadership comes along.

I've got to believe many Russians will then be leaving also, if allowed. They need to be well-screened and limited to going into Ukraine for quite awhile.

AJMO and yes its all flawed in someway no matter what. I just want Ukrainians to get their country back without an occupying force...life over more death

I would never accept a deal like this from my government. Every country has the right to decide for there own who they want to be "friends" with especially if there is no real threat, because of all the restrictions posed on you being part of that "friends group". You can't decide for another country who they want to join. How would it be if f.i. Denmark took our provinces Groningen and Friesland or Mexico confiscated the state of Texas? Would you agree to just give it away?
