Here is an UID case I found on unidentified wiki from Russia that interested me so I thought I'd post it here. I haven't found any other UID cases from Russia posted on here so this may be a first.

Circumstances of Recovery Investigators of the Third Investigative Department (for the investigation of crimes of past years) of the First Directorate for the Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Republic of Khakassia have completed the investigation of a criminal case against a 39-year-old resident of the city of Krasnoyarsk. The man is accused of committing the murder of a man in 2007 (Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
According to the investigation, in April 2007, near the house located on 3rd Gipsovaya Street in the city of Krasnoyarsk, passers-by found the bone remains of a person.
A criminal case was initiated on this fact, however, despite the complex of investigative actions and operational-search measures, it was not possible to identify the person involved in the murder of the man at that time, the preliminary investigation of the criminal case was suspended.
In 2023, as part of the work to investigate crimes of past years, investigators of the First Directorate for the Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Republic of Khakassia, criminalists of the Main Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia (Forensic Center) of the Investigative Committee of Russia, operational officers of the 4th Department of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory re-analyzed the materials of the criminal case. A set of investigative and procedural actions, as well as expert research, was carried out, which made it possible to establish all the circumstances of the crime committed.
It was established that in April 2007 the accused accidentally met the victim on the street. In the course of joint consumption of alcoholic beverages between the men, a conflict arose due to mutual insults, the accused inflicted multiple blows with his hands and legs on various parts of the body to the victim, then grabbed a knife and inflicted a fatal blow on the man in the neck.
In order to conceal the crime, the accused dragged the body of the murdered man into the bushes, cut off the head with a knife, placed it in a polymer bag and left it in a concrete ring on the territory of the Sverdlovsk district of the city of Krasnoyarsk. The defendant took the man's body on a motorcycle to the forest and burned it.
As a result of the evidence presented by the investigation, the man fully admitted his guilt in the crime. During the interrogation, he spoke in detail about the circumstances of the crime committed, which are fully consistent with the evidence collected in the criminal case, and when checking the testimony, he pointed out the place where the body was hidden. He is currently serving a court sentence for the murder of his sister and her husband.
The criminal case was sent to the prosecutor's office for approval of the indictment and subsequent referral to the court for consideration on the merits.
