As manager of the five-star hotel during the 1994 genocide in Rwanda, he sheltered and saved 1,268 people.

Paul Rusesabagina of 'Hotel Rwanda' appears in court again seeking bail after arrest on terrorism charges

He appeared before the Nyarugenge intermediate court Friday in the capital, Kigali, where a judge ruled that a decision will be made on his bail application October 2.

Rusesabagina, 66, was appealing against last week's ruling to remand him for 30 days.

Where are all the Hollywood peeps now? They can use Paul Rusesabagina’s story to display their craft, use their fame to “platform” a zillion causes, but no outrage for him now? This story is hardly covered. I find it horrifying. He’s a true hero. He risked his life to save so many & still losing his life imo.
