Ryan was last seen in Pasadena, Texas on June 14, 2007. He met a friend at a park at 4:00 pm, and they spoke for about 20 minutes. Ryan disappeared afterward and has never been seen again.

Ryan may still be in the local area. He left behind a pregnant girlfriend, who has since given birth to their son. Ryan has no prior history of running away or of mental illness. He is considered to be endangered and foul play is suspected.

Gloria Esparza has been searching for her son, Ryan Jacob Esparza, since June 14, 2007. He was 17-years-old when a friend called him and asked him to come to shoot hoops at Highland Park in Pasadena, not far from his home. When the sun set and Ryan still wasn't back home, his family said they knew something was wrong.

Esparza has provided a DNA sample in hopes of discovering what happened to her son.

After Ryan Jacob Esparza disappeared on what seemed like a typical Thursday, on June 14, 2007, his mother assumed he had stayed at his girlfriend's home. When he didn't show up the next morning, she panicked and reported him missing.

A cursory search of unidentified males found in the same county within a couple of years yielded one possible match. The UID was found in Houston in January 2009. Vitals stats all match up but I don’t see a large mole on Ryan’s cheek.

Circumstances of Disappearance An acquaintance/friend picked up Ryan in his personal vehicle and took him to play basketball at Highland Park located at Miami/Southmore in Pasadena, Texas. The friend states Ryan walked away from park.

Bumping…this one is sad to me. Seems like police just gave up on investigating, but at the same time there seems to be no leads or anything. I guess the person who picked him up to play basketball would be a good place to start looking. Just not a lot of information out there. It’s devastating that Ryan was never able to meet his own son.
