S.A. Concerned Defense will Sell Pics of Caylee's Remains

I am just now getting back and starting to read.

I hope the SA's motion is granted. It is sickening to me that there should be pics of Caylee's remains for anyone to gawk over.

I read the articles. What you are quoting is a reporter's version of events. What I quoted was taken directly from the paperwork filed by the state. It's clear as day.

Where is the doc at? I've been looking all over for it!

On NG just now, Drew P. (reporter) mentioned there was six figures paid to the defense for the video of Caylee in the pool and in the backyard. He said they are still tracking it down tho.

I cannot understand why everyone is getting feisty over this motion filed by the SA. Most if not everyone wants to protect Caylee's memory and respect her, yet want to fight the SA on this motion and be allowed to view the remains? That is just morbid to me.

Given what is known about the A's and Baez what exactly isn't expected from them? That they will do the honorable to memorialize Caylee?

Paid to Baez! It's disgusting, but is it illegal?

Lol, I wonder what ABC considers to be nominal? The SA says it was substantial.

In this motion, the state argues that substantial licensing fees have been paid for pictures and video of Caylee taken while she was alive

When tabloids are paying millions to grace their covers with the photos of celebrities' babies, I am sure their idea of nominal would be substantial to the ordinary person.

A lawyer cannot be paid to defend someone with money gained from their crime. Maybe he is really self confident that he will get an aquittal? Or he is prepared to have the state come after him for those funds? Makes no sense at all.

If a tv station has been paying Casey whether directly or indirectly (by paying for her defence), I sure hope that becomes public. I would not watch that station again.

Big time drug dealers and racketeers only source of income is generally money gained from their crimes. They pay their attorneys somehow. I'm not saying it's right or legal, but they do seem to get away with it.

I am all for this motion!! I think the SA's Office is right to file it and I believe they are exactly right that the x-rays etc. need to be viewed there instead of flown all over the country which would allow opportunity for others to gain access, authorized or unauthorized.

If Nancy Grace and all of the local media in Orlando know the funds came from a video than Baez and the Anthony's can add money laundering to the list of things they are not proficient at ;)

And you believe they filed the motion on unsubstantiated rumor? I strongly disagree.

No, I believe they filed the motion over valid concerns, and stated the rumor to support those concerns. I see nothing wrong with that. I'm just saying that there is no proof in the parts of the motion quoted that the A's received any money from photos.

Exactly! lol.

The A's can sell the photos and turn the money over to the defense to pay for expert testimony.

No kidding. Jeez! Everyone on this thread should be giving the SA a  They obviously have a reason to file this motion, and why wouldn't anyone on here want the motion allowed. It is for Caylee. Her memory must be preserved. It is extremely morbid and saddening to think that anyone would want to view or buy pictures of Caylee's remains. I can't fathom it.
