S.A. Concerned Defense will Sell Pics of Caylee's Remains

Quick! Everyone who posted a photoshopped pic delete your posts!!!! LOL

I wish I knew how to create one of those videos where an image suddenly jumps out and scares the pants off the person who's studying it. I could have made even more friends on this forum

It gets harder and harder for me to keep my pie hole shut in this case.

The major players in this case are just plain "no good" IMO.

The rights of this innocent young child are being trampled on each and every day.

I believe, as some said months ago, we need a guardian ad litum in this case pronto.

This is a great moral injustice. IMO

This is the most sensible thing I've heard in weeks. The nonsense and disrespect for little Caylee needs to END. I can't think of one person who really cares bout her. Sorry but I don't buy the A's grieving and we should give them a break. Blah Blah :furious:

shopping the sale of photos of caylee's bones? that actually made me laugh. i'll believe it when i see it.

Or maybe they just got wind of what someone was offering and don't want the defens/A's to be tempted to sell?

That's what I think. Does anyone know what the legal consequences would be if the A's sold them ? If the Defense sold them ? If one of the "experts" sold them ? If someone in the employ of one of the "experts" sold them ?

Big time drug dealers and racketeers only source of income is generally money gained from their crimes. They pay their attorneys somehow. I'm not saying it's right or legal, but they do seem to get away with it.

I think they launder their money, set up fake businesses so it looks like they have a legit income.

You really think so? I'm laughing just thinking about how I would have screamed and wet my pants if something had jumped out at me while I had my face two inches from the screen trying to make out something the was supposed to be a skull or a pair of sunglasses. I guess I'm just demented.

frankly, i don't really see the A's, Baez or even casey trying to sell photos of caylee's bones, i really don't but if SA were really that worried that Baez would stoop so low to make copies and try to sell them, then i don't see a court order stopping him from doing that.
remember, the court told him he couldn't have access to the crime scene but he still assembled all his experts and showed up anyway.
SA should just quietly release the photos.

At first I couldn't understand about the concern. I mean what media would actually print photos of Caylee's remains? To print them they would be taking a big chance in horrifying/disgusting/alienating their readers. Maybe one or two tabloids, but I think even they would be leery of printing them. I mean if you opened a paper or watched NG or another show and they suddenly began showing pics of a decomposed/decomposing body. How many would consider that to be enough overboard to cancel subscriptions or quit watching the shows? I am sure that many people would.

However, it wouldn't surprise me to see them posted on the internet- if someone got them, but mostly I would expect that to be a free aquistition.

Then I saw where the concern seemed to be about out of state defense people. Many of those defense people earn their bread and butter by consulting and teaching. And they do charge for that. So it wouldn't be at all unusual for Dr. X to get a high dollar fee for a lecture on forensics in which he would be using photos/slides/x rays and info gained from an examination of cases he had investigated "including" the remains Caylee.

So this kind of motion might prevent them from using photos/slides etc. that were given to them by the prosecution, but as others have pointed out the defense has her remains and the experts could very well be taking their own photos/slides/x rays. So I am not sure what the SA is hoping to accomplish by the motion unless she hopes to get some type of order that prevents any expert from using the info from the investigation.

Boy, I'd hate to know what everyone thinks about the fact that my husband's remains were in a plastic bag inside a plastic box for 7 months until I dispersed his ashes up in the mountains! Casey is being told that the defense believes a second autopsy MUST be done, and before that autopsy can be done, the defense MUST get the prosecutions' information.

Posturing by lawyers toward a 22 year old facing unimaginable legal issues seems to me directly set upon the lawyers, and not the 22 year old. Casey is not holding Caylee hostage. She COULD release the remains to her parents. But her lawyer has motioned IN COURT that they need the prosecution's info.

Please, someone tell me who, outside of her lawyers, Casey has had contact with in order for her to understand she could go against these people. I don't believe she's being victimized necessarily. I just think, in isolation, she is being limited in terms of what's going on "outside."

"Casey, sign this document that gives us a chance to get a second autopsy. It's the best thing we can do right now for your case." "Casey, here's the release form for the ME to give the remains to the funeral home. We can't have a funeral just yet because we can't have the autopsy until we get xyz...."

I'm just saying......as a 22 year old, and this particular 22 year old whose demonstrated personality seems to be driven by the people in her life, this particular 22 year old whose whole purpose in HER life has been to please the ones showing her concern, is doing what she's told because that's what she's been told to do.

Why would she suddenly want to begin pleasing anyone now? She has never been a people pleaser. IMO

Call me dense, but I'm not getting what you're trying to say at all. I gave my opinion that the A's probably did sit with Caylee's remains. I did not state it as fact. It's been stated as fact on this thread that the SA is accusing the A's of selling photos. That is not correct.

I know most posters here would find this hard to believe, but my intent is actually not to defend the A's, it's to defend the facts. So much of what get's said in the media ends up twisted beyond all recognition on this forum, and always against the Anthonys. I try to get people to see what was actually said, not what someone has turned it into after applying their own bias - either pro or con anyone.
Yes. Most posters would find this very hard to believe. This we can agree on! However, defending the facts is one thing and everything else is...well...not.

I defend the facts, too. Even when they are leaked to the press and are not presented via LE as some people seem to require...but they turn out to be exactly correct when they do come out. Rather like when people were saying Caylee was alive (which was based solely on fake/false sightings and outright lies) when the FBI clearly said they knew she was deceased. I based my information on facts instead of falling for the lies. It came out not twisted at all and without any distortion.

I don't see many things on this forum that are not based on facts. We find them via the press or they are found in other ways as this is the only way we have to figure things out. We can see with our own eyes what the A fam does. We listen. We don't take only the word of a reporter to surmise and figure out this family.

Defending people who don't deserve it to me is like spitting in the wind. It doesn't go anywhere fast.

Caylee is dead, why would she need a lawyer? :waitasec:

They usually launder them through Germany for some reason. If the court ordered them not to do it, they would go to jail if caught, but catching them is the problem. I hope they require a "guardian" in their presence. That would be my choice.

But, what if JB could use the release of the photos, to say the 2 biggest tabloids, as another reason hs client can't get a fair trial? He might say that these pictures have inflamed the jury pool. Me, personally, I have been inflamed for a long time!!:furious:

Thanks Mysteriew, I tried to bring that up in post 271 on this thread but you said it sooooooo much better than I did.

Even selfish people want to please the people around them, for selfish reasons. I just happen to believe that in Casey's case, beyond the selfish reasons, lies an incredible need to feel loved and wanted and appreciated that drove Casey more than the pure selfishness of actions that got her what she wanted immediately, such as stealing. I believe her "best behavior" tactics are just such times. Those tactics look a lot like buying groceries and cooking dinners and doing laundry and cleaning apartments for her boyfriend du jour. Those tactics look a lot like making brownies and cooking stuff for bounty hunters and folks inside the house when she's first released. Those tactics look a lot like a model prisoner who sits alone in her cell making no waves whatsoever, demanding nothing, creating no scenes with guards in order to get more attention, not seeking any other outside attention but that given to her by her current source of concern: her lawyers.

If the second autopsy has not been done, then Casey has likely not relinquished her rights, the funeral home and the Anthony's would have not ability to change the status at this time.

I believe she would have had to authorize the release prior to it leaving the ME, to go to the Funeral Home in the first place. Just throwing this out there, but in a jailhouse interview, KC reminds LA that CA has POA; admittedly though, with regard to what, I do not know.

I have attended a LOT of forensic lectures and seminars and I have NEVER seen any remains, bodies or anything else identified with a name. They are identified as a case number or number only.

The SA's concern is about Baez or the Anthonys selling them in my opinion.

I can't put the site up here, but there is a site that makes their money off autopsy photos of celebrities and famous people. Not certain how much they pay for their photos or how they go about obtaining them. So there are outlets out there.
